Anyone know anything about Players Only? US-friendly deposit methods? Rakeback?

I am not sure I follow your logic really though, who cares how much rake other players pay? The only thing there is jealousy really

Serious?? So if i was sat next to you in a game, just to make the numbers easy i win a $30 pot and i take $28 into my stack b/c i have a rakeback deal, you then play a $30 pot the next hand but only get $27 b/c you don't have a rakeback deal, but you've been playing there for a lot longer than me, would you be happy to play in that game over say 50k hands?? Would you not be a bit pissed when we discovered at the end of the night that we'd won exactly the same amount in terms of pot sizes but i had an extra $40 in my pocket?? Do you not think it would make it harder for you to beat the game than me in the long run?? Thats why i won't play there without rakeback

I have 11k hands this month and last 6k are breakeven.

This makes me rather sad, but not as sad as losing a **** load of money like I was in the past and many people here are now.

Still +$700 on the month but I want progress again

Oh I totally get your point and I wouldnt play there w/o rakeback either, but its because I can get better deals elsewhere, not because other people get rakeback. I dont really care how much rake other people pay, and there is really no reason to unless it is to find a way to pay less yourself. It doesnt give anyone an advantage over you to pay less rake. Maybe an advantage when compared vs you, but not against you (ie: you have no negative expectation if others get rakeback). If you are a winning player you actually would gain from other receiving rakeback, but thats not really my point either.

Im not trying to call you out or anything, I wouldnt play there w/o rakeback either, but if your reasoning for something stems from jealously it can be harmful to your game.

I hope that's not the case. Your posts are always well thought out and articulate. They are exactly what the HA section needs.

Seriously the same discussion is going on about the UK bonus on 2p2. It makes no sense whatsoever to compare yourself to other people. You should focus on doing the best that you can do and that's it. If Stars is better than FTP without rakeback, play there. If FTP is better play there (this is assuming you have 0% chance of getting rakeback). If there's a better third-party site play there. The concept on human psychology was brought up where people are happier when everyone gets a 5% pay cut but they only get 3% cut than if everyone got a 5% raise. It's stupid, just concentrate on your own situation. Whether everyone at the table is getting all their rake back or paying extra rake than you, none of that matters in the slightest. All that matters is what your sitaution is and how your decisions affect this situation.

Has anyone here ever played on Players Only? From what I've researched, it looks like I can get a 100% bonus as well as 33% rakeback. Since I've never had a rakeback affiliate before, I just want to know how to go about doing this. Which account do I need to make first? I just don't want to screw it up somehow...

Also, if all goes well, I may be grinding a lot more this summer with a bonus pending and rakeback!!
