Pretty good month imo, too bad I hardly play because it's already up there as one of my best months. It sure looks pretty though.

Has anyone here ever played on Players Only? From what I've researched, it looks like I can get a 100% bonus as well as 33% rakeback. Since I've never had a rakeback affiliate before, I just want to know how to go about doing this. Which account do I need to make first? I just don't want to screw it up somehow...

Also, if all goes well, I may be grinding a lot more this summer with a bonus pending and rakeback!!

I've considered moving to sites like Players Only and Cake, but eventually came to the conclusion that the super low traffic + inferior software and support (at least to Stars) just means it wouldn't be worth it to me in the end. Sure, I'd make maybe $200+ in rakeback, but that's assuming I get to play as much as I do where I currently play. Meh, I dunno. Let us know how it works out for you.

Ship the first positive day in May :)

Took a 5 day break and came back strong. The more important thing is that I felt that I played great the whole time. Played on my laptop at home, thats why it says "this month" on top of the graph.

Am officially tilted out of my mind after spending some time in the HA forum - last time i ever click on that button

I second WVHillbilly here. Your posts there are wonderful. You should take a break, then come back.

It wasn't my last hand that tilted you was it. ;)

If it was, I simply request you read to the end of the threadas it was a bit of a 'level'.

Pokers really after me this week, my aces never hold up people hitting runner - runners against my sets getting called by some unreal cards then they hit. Good thing is I am frustrated but not on super monkey tilt and havnt lost loads but right now staying positive because I am getting best hands in.

Came to a realisation that I am just treading water poker wise stuck at the dollar sngs because I have tended to withdraw winnings to go toward airfare and stuff. So poker money now stays poker money and I am going to make a serious attempt to make a roll and move up the levels without withdrawing. I havnt had to deposit any money since my first one because my roll has always been enough so I can play, though I did make a deposit just to play a few step games just as a little gift to myself lol but that didnt count as part of my roll. Im pretty happy that I have made profits in poker but unhappy that in reality I have not made much progress game wise as I would like.

The main problem is right now is trying to make platinum at stars while uk promo is on, after I have made gold I will see how far I have to go and use next month as a serious test to see if I can start my game going places.

Seriously the same discussion is going on about the UK bonus on 2p2. It makes no sense whatsoever to compare yourself to other people. You should focus on doing the best that you can do and that's it.

Exactly. It's the same as when a hyper-LAG sits down at the table, and wins 4-5 buyins in 20 minutes. I think, why can't I win $$$ that quickly, it's not fair. But, if I change my style because of his success, I'll only end up messing up my own game.

I don't care how much someone else is making playing poker... unless they're making it from me.

Could use a sweat this week.
Been kind of in a rut this last week and not much progress. Don't feel focused when I play and as a result start doing some stupid things.

Sweat for 25nl FR or 50nl FR please.

(Yeah I'm also in the progress of moving up but 50nl on Everest is about as dry as a sandbox in the desert. So will move back to tilt with full roll after I clear this $300 bonus.)

Im actually starting to like poker again, even though im downswingin.

The best part about this stake is the free coaching, Nick has been helping my game so much, so that even if im having a few losing sessions, im minimizing my loses by consistantly picking up small pots instead of just leaking mindlessly. Hes helped me steal more and have me do more iso raises that I didnt do much before. Ive got so many notes hes taken for me about leaks I didnt even notice I had, just such minor things like the perfect betsizing for example.

I predict good things for next week, I feel energized to play.

PLO, the game anyone can win at.

I think overall it is better than NLHE, the future of poker even, but its got huge disadvantages too like, rarely having a % advantage in so many situations where you think you are a clear favorite. Getting the nuts nutted by runner runner nuts is fun too. The really good players can probably make soooo much money, if you can handle the huge variance. I wouldn't want to play it full time though unless I had a massive roll and virtually no fear AND was an extreamly capable player.

Its a very interesting game thats for true.

it's a game that doesn't attract fish, so bad regs will be the profitable source in PLO...

True if you are playing with people who have some kind of clue what they are doing. I'm finding at smallish stakes ($25 / $50) people generally suck and if you pay attention you can find people who basically do nothing but pay you off when you have the nuts cause they think "zomg a Q high flush is a great hand on this paired board"

granted it's a relatively small sample but i've run off a +12 BI upswing in the last couple days playing PLO and i'm running at a ridiculous ptbb/100 rate (not just last couple days but last couple months...am on my laptop atm so I can't check the number)

and yes all the following apply

[x] Not so thinly veiled brag
[x] Is frustrated with HE atm
[x] sample likely not large enough

I've just finished watching Kill Bill vol 1.
I lost track a long time ago but this must be like the 6th or 7th I watched that movie. After probably about a year of not watching it, I am completely blown away by its sheer ausumness again.

I <3 it !

(tomorrow is vol 2 day)
