Am i the only 1 who thinks it would be massively profitable to become a god at mtt's? Since all games are supposedly getting harder all the time and less profitable, although still juicy, whereas MTT's will forever be juicy and full of fish. If only they didnt make you want to kill yourself and if you have sick tilt control they are probably the best game in terms of profit

Lately id say its getting a little harder because the economy sucks and online poker is fcked for the US. Two thing should happen that would be wonderful and make games juicy again. Economy improves significantly, and online poker becomes "legal" in the US. If both these things happen then I can see alot of dead money drifting back into the games.

Imagine if the uigea didnt exist anymore, lol the amount of bad players sifting into the games would be sick, plus they could advertise the .com site more etc etc.....

I think I would probably want to spend the rest of my days with cocktail sticks propping my eyelids open, and someone pouring acid on an open wound on my body, than playing MTT's on a regular basis. The thought of grinding them makes me wanna uke:

Even if this was the case, if you were a good nl400 reg 18 months ago, your rate of improvement should be greater than that of lesser regs over the same period of time. Hence, although games may have become harder, you should still have been able to maintain a large edge.

So the solution is to get better obv. My philosophy is that Phil Ivey or Tom Dwan are good enough that no matter how tough poker gets they'll still be able to make decent money. So I'll just get better than them.

Likely this year, the bill just hit the House floor and is projected to pass. Then the politics game of getting a similar bill in the Senate passed, reconciling the two versions, compromising, amending, including funding for random projects amended along with other random pet projects to win votes, and finally getting it passed Congress and having the President sign it. So not any time really soon, but hopefully in a few months and by the end of the year.
