Ugh, MLB 09 The Show has completely taken away any motivation I have to play poker This game is so addicting it's like all I do when I'm home, I think I have a problem.

I've been super grateful for another baseball game, MLB 2K9. Ever since it arrived it's kept my husband occupied so much I've had plenty of time to play poker this month.

Ooh.. You ride cyclocross or does that bike just work good for you? I like Kona bikes. Good gear decent prices with cool names and paint. I am more of a paddywagon guy myself (though I own a Giant Bowery in that class).

I plan to build my next 1speed ride from the frame up.

I don't want to be a gear junkie... but you looked at "Jake the Snake" yet? The 105 drivetrain and wheelset make the extra $400 easy to jusify. But whatever...

honestly don't know much about bikes. My friend is a long-time bmxer, has a few road bikes and works at a shop, so he got me a slight deal. Could barely justify dropping that amount on a bike, and yes I did see the jake the snake and it's just too nice for me

Jake is nice. Don't let me muddy the waters. In fact the wheelset is likely tougher which for city rides is a good good thing.

It might not be bad idea having the gears. Especially if your area is very very hilly. I am a devoted fixed gear rider. There is something organic about the bike. As little as I know about you I know someday you should try one. You had a title a while back I liked a lot. "Be like water". It works in poker for sure, and if that resonates for you in cards then you owe it to yourself to borrow a single speed for a long ride sometime after you get used to riding again. Fixed gears are the zen of bikes.

Don't be daunted by a long ride to the cottage. Cycling is amazingly fun and you might just get addicted to it. I am. It's the only addiction that is almost impossible to do too much of.

edit: if you can find the filter that will allow me to check I'll be glad to post a ton of over-bet bluff/semibluffs I've made in the last month or two. In fact against fish after overbetting because they won't fold any boat the next best thing to use it for is folding them off top pair. Obviously gotta have a read on the particular fish but generally like that QJ hand is the type of hands I'll overbet fish with. Regs I don't use it often but I like it a lot HU just for metagame purposes plus it's cool to not let people pot control against you.

Maybe bonus whoring or playing tournament blackjack? But the game is inherently -EV right? I don't see how you could make any legit $ playing against the house.

Also, FTPs, are they worth anything if you are using rakeback? Doesn't full tilt deduct your FTPs spending from the store directly out of your RB?? So if i buy anything its not really...anything gained at all? Someone explain to me pls.

They don't deduct directly from your RB. The value (.005 each) is deducted from your MGR. So 1K FTPs is "worth" $5 off your MGR or $1.35 in RB.

There's "River Bet Size/Pot is Bigger Than..." and the same for Flop and Turn, obviously. And then you can play with the hand value filters.

normal 25nl BR is like 500 +150...650 is enough for shot taking?
