So, I installed the 60 day trial version of Poker Tracker 3. To test it out, I 4-tabled 5nl for a little over an hour. I'm sharing my first PT3 graph with everyone-yay!, but I only played ~280 hands, so I'm not overly excited with the results. Its in the positives and that's always a good sign.

Since I'm still learning the terms and everything with Poker Tracker, I added my stats at the bottom. Given the total hands played, does the stats look ok if I play mostly TAG? Anything I need to bring up, drop down, etc? Thanks.

Really small sample Phil so no real assumptions can be drawn. Just play your game for at least 5K hands before working on your game based on stats.

What WV said, but there are a few that should have converged:

VP$IP looks good, but PFR is a bit low for that VP$IP. This means you're limping a little much. Obviously it's dependent on game dynamics and if these players will stack off super-light when you hit and call with a ton of hands preflop (ie you have no FE with your raises anyway) then it makes sense to limp a good deal with the mid suited connectors and pocket pairs since there's no need to balance your range. If you continue to have these stats after a few thousand hands, your W$SD is insanely high and your WTSD a little low. Basically in general you want your W$SD to be just above 50% and WTSD 25-30%. Obviously these are just guidelines and if the deviation is useful (ie you win at showdown more often because opponents don't bluff and basically let you know what they have) then it's fine. I just cannot believe how high W$WSF is with WTSD being so small. You must win like a million pots just cbetting the flop. Or it could be that it's just 282 hands, which is probably more likely. VP$IP and PFR converge fairly quickly. The others take a little longer (because you have the choice to raise/call/fold preflop every hand. You don't go to showdown every hand, so you will have to have more hands to get the same amount of showdowns).

...I'll have to check but I can't recall if I was limping in a lot. I do know that I was limping in with a small PPs and suited connectors in LP but I usually dont like to just limp into a pot. If that's the case, I'll work on my PFR%

...Ah, thanks for the W$SD and WTSD guidelines. I do recall I was picking up a lot of pots preflop and on the flop with c-betting. I also managed to pick up a lot of pots uncontested with a flop and/or turn bet. I think the small hand sample is also why its like that.

Yeah, no need for a post edit. I actually went through all the same things Zach covered in my original post but then changed it to basically "Sample too small". I too think you're likely folding winners a little too often and not opening for a raise enough but I'd hate to give advice that you may use to make changes based on that sample size.

Really glad to see you using some tracking software though. It will definitely help with your game.

F*** 6max, pretty much this graph sums up why i quit playing it. I swear, no matter what i do, i cant win anymore at this stupid game. Not to mention im over $1000 below all-in EV over my last 20k hands. Even though I got pissed, Im almost positive I never tilted money away in a single hand during a -$450 session though. Zach was watching too and said he didn't see anything wrong with the way i played, so atleast I can be happy with that. I've seriously gotta stop sweating about losing money. I know its going to happen and I've just gotta accept it. If I think I played my best theres absolutely nothing else I can do. Rant over.

I haven't lost all hopes, it just pisses me off to lose to people who I feel aren't as good as me. Something I still need to work on. And $275 is such a small blip compared to my total profits as a poker player I'm really not sure why it affects me at all. I am actually totally fine now, its just in the moment that I start to flip out.

Almost finished the video series, done 2nl, 5nl, 10nl and 25nl, then up next is 50nl and 100nl and I'll probably finish it with a 200nl video. At this rate I'll have forgotten to beat my usual stakes by the time I reach them though

Been playing lots of home games actually, it's kinda fun. My friends suck. I think I've won 4 of 5 games 9-handed, lol. Nuit Blanche this saturday, all-night fun!! Then hopefully I get some ****ing hands in....
