Such a sick day today...played like absolute shit and was just glad to get unstuck. Made one absolutely retarded play with a draw where i 4 bet folded in position instead of flatting for some retarded reason :S :S :S so then i stack off super lightly a couple hands after that because i'm an idiot (somebody has a note saying i stack off with TPGK now...). Tried to bluff what i found out afterwards were like the 2 worlds biggest stationary fish who called down with like 3rd pair with all sorts of filled in draws out there. Ironically, i'm actually running at 9.5BB/100 for the month, but just playing like a retard sometimes. Probably the hardest $50 i've ever made...

Oh man, Jay, this sucks. Is that all 200NL? Hang in there, man!

I know that a lot of you think I'm full of s*** with that whole $50 punishment and then dropping off the face of the earth. Suffice it to say that I will pay for every day I've missed to various forum members (probably at random).
Atm, I need every buck that's in my bankroll, but the payday for you folks will come within the next 60 days. De rabbit not brake his word eva.

Welcome back Chris, it's a mix of 100 and 200nl FR, as I'm grinding a shit load of hands this month. Unfortunately, I have to play through the d/swongs :(.

Can anyone help me and explain why I am such a big loser at 2nl and 5nl?
Below are my PT stats, only 2 or 3 days and 2k hands 4 tabling a mix of 2nl and 5nl. It's not a big sample but it has taken a chunk out of my br and I don't like it.

To study up on poker I've tried searching for books at my local library but they had none so I fear I may have to buy them :(.

Enty ...

1) Your steal % looks SUPER low.
2) Don't mix levels stick at one and don't potentially confuse your brain
3) 2nl and 5nl? Start at 10nl.
4) Impossible to say much else if we dont see your HHs.

I know it was 11 hours, but that's an extremely small sample size. Look at Jagsti's recent graph. Winning player but over 9k hands the graph sure doesn't look like it.

The one thing that jumps out though is W$SD, which should almost always be above 50% (usually 52-55%). I'd say you were calling down a bit too much but that's probably not the case with an almost 5 AF.

ALSO: fold to 3-bet is extremely low. You should be folding to most 3-bets unless they've shown the ability to 3-bet light. You're calling or 4-betting almost half of them. What's your typical action when say you raise with JJ from the CO and get 3-bet by the button? 3-bet by the BB?

Oh man, so that's like a 10 buy-in swong at FR? Sometimes this game really sucks, doesn't it?

No secret. I was gonna pay $50 for every day on which I didn't play at least 3,500 hands. Due to a major downswing I got fed up early and walked away.

Like I said it's extremely small sample yes but I am losing so 'much' money so fast that I really need to put a stop to this before there's nothing left. And to icemonkey, can't start at 10nl if I'm not rolled for it.

To answer your question: I'd say I most likely flat in both cases depending on the 3-bet amount.

Well in general (can’t really make many conclusions over so few hands) ats% is way too low, wtsd is too high, w$sd is way too low (and when you combine these last 2 it is very very bad), AF is way too high, AFq is too high as well i think (don’t use PT so can’t remember exactly how this is calculated, fold to 3B is too low, and you fold your blinds, especially your BB way too much. However you probably don't want to adjust all these things for nl2/5 since it is “different poker”.

Doesn't look like you are too stationary or anything, but looks like you might bet a couple of streets and get to showdown with the worst hand a fair bit.

Does the fact that i have 300 vpp's sp far this month give any kind of indication as to how much pokah i've played this month? Being piled up with work is so not cool, ah well, i only have 3 more pieces of coursework to do by next week, ugh

The won at showdown should be higher, but for those limits the VPIP and PFR also looks too TAG to me. Your gonna get a lot of limp/callers preflop, which should let you limp a lot of small pairs/suited/gapped connectors. Just be able to get off them if you catch a weak pair on the flop.

And don't go too far with aggression unless you hit. When you raise limpers preflop you'll get callers, and if they catch bottom pair they won't fold to your c-bet. Value bet the heck out of your TPTK and better.

imo, for those stakes.

Really CHris - I think the players who post in here will let you off the hook on that one. Maybe just give $50 to 1 or 2 people if you really feel you need to do something.

Enty, you are way too aggressive. AF of 5ish & AFq of 60% is pretty insane. You don't have a value-bettable hand that often. Ease off the bluffing, and it should help your bottom line.

How about if you feel the need to, give some buy-ins to the tourey for freak and lady ts dog? Just a suggestion.

I been throwing away money for a few weeks now, so I cashed some out and back to the dollar games sigh. Not a big deal to most but it is too me.

Hope the month gets better for you all.

lol i think i'm going to get the HU bug again sometime this month...only problem is if you run bad/start tilting even a little in HU it is such a joke. I would love to become a HU specialist, but i don't think i can deal with the whole 2k hands of last month where i went +$1k over 1k hands then -$1k over the next 1k.

I have some problem getting value too I think. I seem to get a lot of money in when I'm behind or dominated, but when I have the best hand, at least I think I do, then I don't get action. Maybe this is a bet sizing problem, or maybe I'm expecting too much, I don't really know.

That's exactly what I see myself doing way too often! Having a decent hand but not believing the other guy has me beat and thus getting too showdown with a lot of losing hands too often. That also party explains the low W$SD I think.

Fish #2 for the day :)

Seriously the most passive guy I've ever run into though. He called trips at least three times when I thought I was value betting weak top pairs or second pair hands...

Video of the second half of that session to be posted.

You still playing hu switchy?
