Tough spot there Zach. I think I fold and wait for a better spot. I mean if he's a bad player he'll give you his $$ eventually anyway. :)

Sucks that he had such a small stack!

yea definitely fold here, I think he has a blackjack..oh oh wait, this is poker..umm in that case I'm thinking call, but on the other hand he might river a pentagon, 5 Kings, the ultimate hand of poker, so I don't know about this hand, tough decision bro.

Still running ridiculously hot. Mostly 50NL but also about 1000 hands at 25NL as I experimented 10 tabling full ring for a change, which was surprisingly easy.

Yeah, I would go with Hillbilly. I think you're sunk. The only way you can get out of this is if he doesn't hold the two jokers, and with that big of a bet, I'm betting you're beat!:D:D:D

5k hands in less than a week, that's a huge amount for you, isn't it? Nice to see you stick to your monthly goals.

Swingtime. Beats, coolers, tilt, cool myself down, more crazy beats. At least it's got me playing more.

Video series and any and all forum participation is on halt until I get off the merry go round and stop puking.

Ouch. Well, you knew last month's heater was not sustainable but it still hurts when you're on the wrong side of variance.

Hope you won't let your game be affected by short term results. You've been playing great poker lately and that's always a winner in the long run.

Chuck I'm still proud of you that you can still have that red line at $0 :p.

Looked at some of the ssnl graphs on 2+2, some of them have crazy upward linear red line graphs . Ok there SD line is somewhat lower but it's still look crazy.

Well, I figured I should post my October Goals here to hopefully motivate me to actually accomplish them.

So here we go... Goals for October:
1) Play 10k hands
2) Hopefully make the ~180$ I need to be properly rolled for 25NL
3) Don't blow to much time/money playing Omaha Hi/Lo
4) Post more in the forums
5) play a few CC freerolls

Best of luck for all in October!

Well, this can be

  1. Competition is softer in the morning
  2. You play better in the morning
  3. Variance

You should hopefully be able to figure out which by going over your hand histories.

I'm seriously looking into getting some anger management stuff. I know I have the skills to crush 200nl but if I tilt like I have so far this month every time I get a small downswing I just won't be able to really deal with playing full-time.

I think going to an anger management class and telling them I go apeshit when I lose money gambling, their first response will be to tell me to stop gambling though :p

37k hands in 7 days, that's serious work ethics. And $2.4k per week is a nice salary. :)

I just want to know your guys motivation, I tried 4 tabling (don't laugh too hard please)9 player ring game and it bores the crap out of me. I didn't win, didnt lose much, have only played a few times, how can I get motivated to start liking it. And being back at work almost full time I will never have the time to put the hands in you guys do. So should I just give it up and stick to my sngs? Tell me your deepest secrets, lol.

if you get bored 4tabling, then try 8 tabling?

Also, 6max has a hell of a lot more action if full ring bores you.

Go die. I've been running like trash.

In other news, I'm up 225 big bets ($450) after playing 1/2 stud @ full tilt for 7 days... Full Tilt is WAAAAYYYYY SOFTER than Ultimate Bet, its not even funny.
