yeah, you won't have trouble finding tables running at those stakes provided you play during the European evening. Off peak it gets really empty, though.

Seriously, party is like a moblie phone/cable company atm. Got $700 there after running up a small cash last week and then i notice that they took out $15 for some sort of inactive account charge , cannot withdraw to neteller unless i have deposited using neteller within the last 6 months. I deposited via neteller 7 months ago. FFS.

Its gonna feel good cashing out from there.

Anybody have any opinions on training sites for Limit players? Looking to join one. I've heard good things about DC but want to look at others before committing to one.

I have a hella load of hands and notes on everest 100/200nl regs if you want them tb, i have like 20k on a bunch of the hardcore regs, and >10k on a huge majority, also have notes and know the playing styles of the names of most regs just because you play with them so much, that if you just give me usernames, i can tell you a load about them from memory

October is finally rocking! On the 15th I sent a pm to a member here complaining that I was down to $10 on my ps account and was having a really hard time wrapping my mind around playing at beginner levels again. Between the night of the 15th and last night I have grown that $10 into over $600 (mostly ring games & a nice $140 mtt finish from $3)! Loving Roctober!!!

Ive been wondering... Why dont poker sites use advertising to cut their rake charges? Say they had a small advertisement on every table but charged half the rake of all other sites... This would encourage more people to play there right? or is there something I am missing here?

Not really that bad of an idea.... Then Ad Muncher could do its job and I'd never know the difference!!!

Because there is orders of magnitude of difference between the amounts collected in rake and the value of the advertising space you suggest. So adding ads would not allow them to charge 50% of the rake, but something like 99.9%, which would be irrelevant.

Some 200nl, but more 100nl lately. Mostly because i have a lot of work lately and i don't always feel mentally fresh enough to play 200nl.

Also because i try to play deep tables only as the regular ones at FTP are infested with shortstackers, and some nights there are barely any 200nl deep tables running, while i always find plenty of those at 100nl. I do hope FTP does something to address the ss issue. Doug has hinted they would in the FTP update threads at 2p2. I hope it's not just an empty promise.

Other than that, i started the month nastily. Down about $2k with all the luck indicators nastily in the red (flopping half the sets i was supposed to, breaking even with those flopped sets because of several set under set, $1k below ev in all in pots, ...) but that has been improving lately. I do handle downswings with a very zen attitude now, so that's good. :)

I've been rocktobering it up the past two days and am almost ready to make the full time switch to 10nl. Does anyone have advice on the differences between 5 and 10?

What do you do on a blank turn, FP? Call a second barrel if villain fires it? check back or fire when villain checks?

I bet blank turns very often with the intention of checking back the river UI. But I try to check villain's turn c/r% before I do that.
