The low limit guys who don't have a graph that goes up, don't understand much about poker lifestyles and are jealous (may be a bit of a harsh word and not the 1 i want to use but i can't think of the word i want) I guess are the ones with stuff to say, so um yeah, kinda embarrising i guess

fwiw, ive never said im running worse than anyone ever has ever, since i know my swongs are standard for a lot of people. I've just said that i've had as much bad luck as my mental side can take. But doesn't matter, who needs to look into posts and learn to read when that would just slow you down from making super cool comments that make you look like you own the hood. I actually used to think you had some class and were a decent guy aswell

Wife's bp went way up last night and the Dr. is doing a c-section this afternoon to get the baby out. Baby seems fine on all the monitors but he will be 4 weeks early so there could be minor complications but they need to get him out for wife's health. So by tonight I will be a dad. Wish me luck.

i'm quitting guys, been nice meeting you all, prob pop back online every now and then, just cant do this to myself anymore. Seriously sucks being this depressed every time i try and play. Had 3 winning sessions in just over 7 weeks, all for < a buyin. I feel upset and depressed at the end of every session, which is just pointless. Would much rather being doing something with my life which i enjoy.

Sucks when anything makes you feel like that especially poker. Sounds like a good idea to step away and re-charge the batteries. Hope you pop back more frequently than not. Always enjoy your input in these and other threads. I've noticed that there is lots of <3 for you here at CC switch so keep that in mind while on your sabbatical.

Congrats, may the C-section be swift and routine. Having a new baby will be life changing to say the least. I have a feeling you will be a pretty decent dad.

I don't know you so well, but I still feel compassion for you during this time man... seriously.

I don't play your volume or stakes, but downswings are often still pretty soul crushing for me. In fact one of the things I am working on is learning to control my emotional response to them. To be honest I am not sure I am improving at all in this area.

Anyway.. I hope you come back eventually.

Quick update from the hospital room.

Harlan Eugene IV, that's right I'm the 3rd, was delivered via c-section at 1:01 PM today. He weighs 7lb 2oz and is 19.5 inches long. He's absolutely beautiful and perfect except due to being 4 weeks early he's having some difficulty breathing (there is some chemical that he's not producing yet to keep his airway open).

He's currently being attended to in the NICU and they have a device called a cpap on him that forces air into his nose to keep his airway open. How long he'll have to be there and any further treatment is currently unknown (they tell us that the 1st 24hrs often tell a lot about how well he'll respond).

I have been to see him several times so far and even though it's hard to see your baby with an IV and little device in his nose, I know he'll be fine and it's just a matter of when, not if, so that's great news.

My wife is sore (of course) but doing fine other than wanting to hold baby Harlan. Her health is improving greatly since the delivery.

I do have pics but no way of getting them online just yet. They will get posted eventually (you'll probably have to beg me to stop posting them).
