I thought he probably had underpair, like 66 or 77, with limp UTG, or a high 10.

I was thinking that if I push here, he probably still calls, even if he had like K10 or Q10, so I just let it go. Not looking to gamble off almost half my chips with this move. I can find a better spot.

Gosh this one hurt. Knew he had KKs or QQs, after that push, and the runner runner flush. Ouch. Back to work, lost my big chip stack there.

Making the right plays right now, just not getting rewarded.

Couple limpers, dead money in there, just decided to gamble a little, and take it down here, or be in a coinflip against an underpair. There was a chance that someone was being sneaky with AAs or KKs, but I didn't think those two guys would do that. Seemed pretty straightup.

2nd break in MTT#9. Down to 7500 chips. A little under average stack. Took a couple bad beats, one really hurt, I would have been in top 5 in chips had I won it, was in really good shape off flop and called an all-in and well the other guy needed a 2 outer or runner runner spades. Runner runner spades came, and it took me down to about 6000 in chips, instead of having around 25,000.

1st break in Bonus MTT. Down to about 1400 chips. Havn't had anything to play really, been up and down. Anyways, will have to push with next decent hand I see.

Worked stack back up to about 9000, then got a big hand.

AA v. AK suited, the hearts or straight didn't come, I doubled up big.

Bit unlucky. Was walked with QQs and KKs past two times in BB, and then this time again with AKs.

At least this ensures that I don't get any bad beats.

wtf ever happened with this, I hate to be a ass but really come on its been months and this is not even half way done? thats pretty ridicules. This should of been done in 1 month tops, if you know you wont be able to play all the scheduled games in time allowed you should either never agree to the backing or refund the money when you realize you can not play them.

no offense estelle but this is damn silly. You have played 9 tourneys so far so are we just cutting our loses here I guess?

Played in 10 Official MTTs. I have won back I believe $65-75 back. There are 14 more Official MTTs to go.

Storms, I'm sorry if it's taking a while. Initially I believed I would just play about 5 MTTs a week, and be done in about a month or so. I didn't see any problems with being able to accomplish this. Obv things really started to come up, and I havn't been able to play any poker at all for about the past 3 weeks or so, so that's slowed down the progress a lot.

I really will get back to doing this in a week or so when I'm not busy. I'm not going to run off with your $10 storms, I really thought people wouldn't have a problem if I stopped for a few weeks, and started up again once the summer was out and I was no longer busy. But if you guys want me to finish it out now, then I'll make sure to find time to do this. No worries, I'll get it done storms. I understand why you're stating what you did, and no I don't think you're an ass.

Just because no one said anything, and since I did make another post in another thread saying I was busy for a few weeks, I just naturally assumed everyone knew I was not going to be able to play the MTTs for you guys for a while, and that you guys were all OK with it. Since you are not, I'll make sure to start this up again. I'll try to play at the least 3 MTTs a week then.

I'll try to play at the least 3 MTTs a week then.

ty for explanation, I remember the post saying you were busy but heard nothing about it after then.

Havn't had time to play any official $5.50 MTTs yet.

But at the moment, I have some time off today, so planning on a full days worth of poker for you guys. I will be in the Guys v. Gals Tourney (although that won't count towards the money for you owners, but just letting you know).

Also, I'll probably play a $5.50 later today.

And right now, I'm playing a bonus MTT for you guys--the $11 crazy huge donkfest, of 20,000 entrant $200K prize pool on PokerStars right now.

Tourney ID #56065439 if you guys want to check it out (anyone else in this? Oh and just a nice "hey" from TB, check the bottom of the list of entrants/finishers, one of the best accomplishments I've seen in poker yet, especially considering the field size).

Whats happening with this Estelle?

I would appreciate an answer and an update if it's not to much trouble.

It has been hanging for way to long now IMO.

Played in 15 official MTTs now, 9 more to go.

I've won back the initial investment of $120 that you guys put in, now I'm just playing for some profits for everyone.

Once again, didn't really think I'd be this busy, but I am--sorry.

Anyways, I've gotten back the initial investment of $10 from everyone now, with 9 more MTTs to go for you guys, so it's all profit from here. But I will be busy again this week, and will be able to play a couple more MTTs though.

I would have to say, It's the most unconventional staker/backer/runner/horse investment I have ever been involved with.

It for sure does not follow the regular/normal way of doing these things.

The lack of information game by game alone is disappointing, and the time it's taking to full-fill the obligation is a bigger let down.

It seems that the only time you bother to update us, is when you are prompted to do so, and even then it is very sketchy at best.

I am aware, from what you say, that you are in a busy period, but I understand you knew this would be the case when you came looking for backers.

I am sure others don't see it this way, but I just wanted you to know how 1/12 of your backers feels about it.

Cheers.

guess you missed the whole point to mojo post.

the money is not the issue at all, the agreement was. We never asked for a deadline on it because we didnt think there would be periods of day/weeks/months where estelle would just kinda disapear. Nothing personal estelle I know things come up but when you expect to be gone for a extended period of time you should post that.

"hey guys no tourneys for 2 weeks im going away"
"ok now back guys going to play 1 tonight for sure"

that kinda thing.

.

On the contrary, I thonk I got his point loud and clear.

He wants to know what's happening with the agreed on series of tournaments, 'cause he's unhappy/disappointed/miffed because it's taking a while. The point is pretty clear and selfexplanatory; I merely offered to alleviate ANYONE'S uneasiness by buying up their share of the stake and giving Estelle time, room, or whatever she needs to "get er done" in her own time and her own way. Lots of people around this forum from time to time run up against the incontrovertable fact that sometimes, life intrudes on poker.

So, if you don't wanna take me up on my offer, fine, don't. But don't assume that I "missed the whole point" . Maybe, y'all missed MINE:rolleyes: .
