This question is for non-professional players who play poker for a hobby.
Roughly how much money do you spend per month on poker (entrants, cash games, post-freerolls, etc.)?
Do you have a fixed budget or is the situation developing spontaneously?
I spend no more than $50 a year in total. I play freerolls and thanks to this my bankroll grows, albeit in small steps. But over time it is a noticeable increase.

"As a recreational player, I think having a fixed monthly budget is really important. It helps keep poker fun and prevents those moments where you spend more than you originally intended. The exact amount varies from person to person, but I prefer setting aside a specific bankroll for tournaments and cash games each month and treating it as entertainment spending.
When I stick to a budget, I enjoy the game more because I'm focused on making good decisions rather than worrying about the money. If I run well, great. If I use up the budget, I wait until the next month instead of chasing losses.
I'm curious how others approach it. Do you set a monthly poker budget, or do you just deposit whenever you feel like playing?" ♠️💰🃏
