Seems that the good players are younger. And poker is getting more difficult to play and win. I am amazed at the poker skills of some of these younger players. I remember, a few years ago, that one young player about 20 to 21 years of age, seemed to consistently win. I use to whach him play, and try to play my hands the same. But, it did not seem to work.But, I remain fascinated with the skills of good players. Plus, being confused, because I could not play as well.

Poker is becoming more difficult because the number of players has increased and many of these players are recreational, which gives a considerable twist to the game in terms of plays where they make you a bad beat paying a too high and that a true poker player would not pay looking for a hole or a single out, they do not analyze the outs they have, nor the pot odds, they simply pay by risking their money just to pass the time.
Live it looks a little less but online it is very high and not only at low levels but even at high levels they play luck.

Quality and amount of those quality players are rised, so yes, if i compare fields 15 years ago and now, it is harder to find an edge or make money by playing your A-game. Maybe the profit comes with your B or C game. If players A-games are too close each others nowdays then the difference can be found there...?
