For me personally it’s now to start winning games were as before I learned anything it was more of a hobby.

Hello. For me, it is both. Being retired and in a rural area, poker is a good hobby and, of course, it is always good to finish in the money. That is almost always the goal.

Please do NOT put down any players that are playing for fun or just as a hobby. I would rather be playing against a table full of casual players rather than a table full of players that only want to take all my chips at all costs. It takes all sorts of players and everyone has their own reasons to play. Some see it as a hobby that if they lose money they can afford, it just means they are spending their money to enjoy their hobby, which is perfectly fine. So long as it is not affecting their lives and their loved ones, all is good.

i haven't had my chance at a big score from playing, but i hope soon ill get there. i have leveled up my gaming skills, deducing skills and patience as well as controlling my emotions to try not to get tilted at the tables. but its tough, its not easy sometimes i believe the cards are against me when i play super well yet lose to donk players

Both. Even if you play as a hobby you can't help but want to beat the other guy which means you want to win. Money may not have anything to do with it. Money is nice though.

Poker today for a hamburger tomorrow. I love this game. The money helps, but the escape from boredom, the love of the game and the challenges it brings, makes me happy.
