Not going to just post the downswing because I've decided to refer to it as a 10k break-even stretch :)

Nothing particularly stupid in here, just didn't hit many draws and lost a lot of flips v shortstacks. I do think I could have saved about $300 in crying calls on rivers though.

Ideally I'll get back to 2BB/100 from the 1.5BB/100 it's currently at by the end of the month.

Swingy

Cheers Rex for the MTT advice. Managed to cash, didn't have one f'kin hand though for 2 hrs. When I tried to steal, I was getting r/r. Then My internet connection was playing up so as I was down to 10bb's and I was getting a little pissed off with the discon all the time.

Thx again guys for the advice.

Rex's 2 minute-guide to rebuys.

Rebuy immediately.

During rebuy period stack with top-pair kicker bigger than jack .

Stack with any over pair

All in preflop if possible any pair > 99 and AK AQ

Add-on

After first hour

tighten up and play position and strength of hand. C-bet every pot you enter unless you hit hard. Shove big draws.

Pick of small stacks who are panicing.

Only bluff (ie gamble your stack rather than take a small stab at it) if you really, really know they don't have it.

It's also amazing how people will fold to 3rd of a pot bets because you raised preflop.

Near the end
If you get that far let me know

I know what stacking means in a ring game - is that what it means here?

Lalala +6 buy ins. Today was flop the nuts & get paid day. Nice when your image helps you rather than makes everyone play back at you.

His advice is golden as always. I've been inspired to try more tourneys(again from his big wins post) and been amazed how totally card dead I can be in them, usually just manage to scrape in a past the bubble cash.:)

After losing three more buy-ins at 400nl, I've moved down to 200nl where I proceeded to lose another three-and-a-half buy-ins. It's just brutal anymore.
Favorite hand of today: flopped K high flush vs. flopped A high flush.

Idk, just seems if you consider poker money an investment it doesn't seem all that great to be "investing" in a currency that coudl do who knows what in the next little while.
