I always say that seeing what I have is paying for free information, never if you want to be profitable in this game, don't be kidding me

Hi, I hardly ever show my cards, it would be to give information to my rivals, I once showed a bluff and that because sometimes you also have to enjoy those types of hands ... and try to tilt my opponent:D

Poker is a game of information. The more of it that you give away for free, the more edge you are also giving away.

I rarely show but a win with a 7 - 2 is often a good show for me as it seems to put my opponent off his game for a hand or two.

Depends...

I show jerks bluffs...I show respectful people the nuts sometimes...I very rarely show big pairs to folders. Also, if the game is a big tourney, never show anything I do not have to show.

I never show my cards, be it a bluff or a monster combination. Who wants to see let him pay :).

Pokerstars also has such a function, but I completely agree with you that it is nonsense to show your cards, so I blocked showing hands if I suddenly succumb to an impulse and also want to show my cards later. Why give your opponents information about your style of play?

Show or Not Show

I never show. In my mind, showing is giving your opponents information for free. I am always looking for and edge on my opponents at the poker table and I and not convinced that showing my cards offers any edge. Additionally, sometimes I see people do it just to be a jerk. If you want to see my cards, you are going to have to pay me off on the showdown. No ifs, ands or buts about it. I am tempted to show sometimes in satellites but I resist the urge. I am glad that the option has been added on ACR and who knows, I may have a change of heart at some point but for the time being, I am not showing voluntarily.

Usually no show, but occasionally can be useful to keep a table in a good mood or place.

hi

Hello friend, I never show my cards, it is not good that they see your way of playing. I think it is damaging your game strategy.

I will show at various time for various reasons. If I start playing loose and it seems like I am pushing just to win hands, then I will show an awesome hand just to make people think I am still playing tight with my hands. Other times late in the game I will show bad cards after a shove to entice others to shove with me next time. This is a small game I play and most of the time it is just for amusement during the game. It is sometimes best to keep the competition guessing and never let them get a good read on your play.

All things being equal, I don't show. That said there are times when showing one card can put a player on tilt, especially when the player is OOP.

It is a decision of each one but I prefer not to provide information to my opponents under any circumstances. Too much they already get with poker programs
