I personally think that the difference is in the EXPERIENCE ... an amateur can play like a professional depending on how they have learned or from whom, but experience is always the greatest advantage that a professional has.
I agree. It's the same conclusion for most things. Experience and what always comes with it: TIME!!!

Knows how to play professionally

Just a few...

Knows how to play professionaly. I hope they understand that, because what I see is a bunch of regs (pros?) that at the fist bad beat will curse the other player to the rest of its life. I dont get it, wasnt recreational players supposed to be doing that instead of pros? Just my experience whenever I play a main event tourney. Pros acting like newbies. Maybe im wrong and I had bad experiences only.

I think the main difference is that a professional will live on the earnings of poker, while an amateur plays for fun or because he wants to become a professional and make a living from poker, although not necessarily. I think most of them play for fun and from time to time, for a professional poker is their job

Hello, I think that an amateur is different from a professional in that he plays poker for his pleasure and entertainment, an amateur does not earn a living from poker, maybe he plays plus and wins a little money, but he has his main job in priority that brings him income for which he lives! The professional, on the contrary, earns poker for a living and this is his job, the professional differs from the amateur in the quality of the game and making a minimum of mistakes! Professionals train every day and learn new game strategies, while an amateur is just interested in poker! This is personally my opinion and do not judge me strictly, I am still a newcomer, but my thoughts on what is different amateur from professional think what is right! I want to wish you always enjoy the game and good luck at the tables!

The ones go all in with nothing before the flop ( amatures). Ones that go all in before the flop holding AA ( pros )

The differences are many, for example, patience, concentration, knowing how to play with the blinds, percentages of hands, I could name many more.

one makes a deposit online and plays for months off the deposit and will cash it out once it reaches a certain level....
while the other makes deposits ever paycheck and plays on the weekends only, while participating in freerolls while broke in between paychecks....
