I really love this mindset!Nameless14 said:I love the competitiveness of poker, and always learning new things. Even if I have a bad session I enjoy going through my hands and identifying where I made mistakes. I also like that I can improve on some of my decisions. Obviously it is great to win, however I don’t want to measure how well I am doing based purely on results. Sometimes poker can be frustrating, but I love the feeling of getting a tough decision correct! 😄♠️
Reviewing hands after a bad session is so important. It's easy to just focus on the loss, but when you find that one mistake and learn from it, it feels like a win in itself.
And you're so right about not measuring yourself only by results. Sometimes you play perfectly and still lose, but getting a tough decision right is such a great feeling.
Thanks for sharing this, it really motivated me to keep learning too!
