What makes you the most angry when you're playing poker?

For me, it's when I realize very early in the hand that my cards probably aren't good enough, but I still insist on playing the hand anyway. Sometimes I convince myself that something might happen on the turn or river, or that I can still win the pot.

Then I end up losing a big part of my stack because I didn't trust my first instinct and didn't fold when I should have. That's probably one of the most frustrating things for me, because deep down I usually know I should have let the hand go.

What about you? What is the thing that frustrates you the most when you're playing poker?
Oh I’m getting frustrated when a player let see his/her hand and it’s really nothing.

Good morning, everyone. I started playing poker in 2018 and what irritates me the most are consecutive bad beats. Even though I know they are perfectly normal and part of poker's probability, to this day I still can't ignore them and keep playing. Every time, I stop registering for MTTs and only return to play another day

What frustrates me the most is when I make bad decisions because of my own biases.

I still cannot handle when someone calls with exaggerated trash hands and hit set or flush.
I don't cry after a bad beat, but that really piss me off

It's frustrating. What really gets me angry is when someone has a low pocket pair, like 66 or lower, misses the flop completely, but still calls a c-bet or even a 3-bet hoping to hit something on the turn or river. Then, somehow, they get lucky and hit their card. The worst part is that their call often doesn't make much sense, but they end up winning the pot anyway. I know this is part of poker and that variance works both ways, but it's still hard to accept when you make the right decision and your opponent gets rewarded for a questionable call.

I get really frustrated when I have a string of bad results in poker, like when I don't meet my goals for the week. My mood really depends on it. 🤔

Nothing about poker. What makes me angry are those types of players who make fun of other players when they lose. Because poker is perfect, they will also be mocked.

What annoys me most is when I lose a big pot after making the right decision, especially when I get my money in with 90% equity and the opponent hits one of their few outs on the river. I can accept that variance is part of poker, but it’s still frustrating when it happens repeatedly during a session. The real danger is what comes next: letting that frustration affect my decisions and trying to win everything back immediately. I’ve learned that the cards themselves aren’t worth getting angry over. What matters is how I react afterward. If I notice that I’m playing emotionally rather than logically, taking a break is much better than donating more money to the game.

The most annoying thing about poker is the dealer's bias towards the player with the most chips. Your winning percentage may be 95%, but the fifth card wins in the end.
