I prefer MTT's as it has an immediate loss stop. Cash is generally a higher standard and easy to lose a lot more money a lot quicker. Therefore, for me MTTs (and STTs) are best for new players and those with small bankrolls or with bankroll management issues.

MTT's, depends on site, maybe sit and gos, multi table sit and gos, but i would prefer micro MTTs under 500 reg and freerolls. At least, those are working for me time by time, when I burn my bankroll some other way.

I prefer Sit&Go tournaments. I don't like long games where a lot of people play. It's a waste of time, but you can win a good prize.

I love cash. Two months ago, I won a $15 Cardschat Freeroll. I moved to the cash table and raised $200. I recently put down a $12 Deposit and won a $11 $80 tournament then went up to $200. So I play )))) I love cash. I also love cash tournaments. That is, tournaments are not with chips but with real money. You enter the tournament and you have a real $100 not 5,000 chips. And one person will win everything.

MTT is much easier for bankroll management and gives chances to win big with small investment so i prefer it.

Hello. The most and quickest for me to build a bank are cash games. MTTs take longer and usually I win less.

I prefer mtt, cuz i can play freerolls and low mtts with overlays. In addittion fields in mtts are very weak. So, I guess play mtt is better then cash.

I've been playing cash games, SNGs and MTTs and came to the conclusion that I have the best results in MTTs.

Somehow, despite higher variance, I manage to get in the money quite consistently and have reached quite a few final tables.

I cash games, however, I am a losing player. Pity, I really love to play postflop game, which is more of a cash game thing. So, actually, I'm at the crossroads now: I really want to play cash games, but do not want to lose:D.

I prefer cash NL Holdem, cause its more comfortable for me and give more value.

However I`m plaing a lot of freerols to boost my bankroll :)

I’m the same way, run deep in mtt’s but can’t quite hold my own at the cash tables,
Saddest part of that it’s hard to find the countless hours it takes to run deep in a big game.
9 man tables won’t pay the same but 1in 3 profit is my pick

IF you have a small bankroll to work with i would advise micro MTT's, Sit & Go's and LOTS of freerolls :)
And when you've built a reasonable bankroll of 50+ buyins of the micro cashgames and you want to give that a go THEN you can try out a few buy-ins, BUT don't go on TILT and squander your ENTIRE ROLL or else its a long way back to reach that status again.:eek:

ASK me i've learnt this the hard way in the PAST:deal::deal::deal:

For me, tournaments are the main game plan for the day with them and more complaints, which means it makes sense to study this discipline of poker. Cash for me is something like a rest between tournaments and I have not studied it deeply yet.

Lately I prefer MTT. For me the rhythm of MTT's is more suitable to frequent cashes.

In the long run MTT's have a greater potential for serious earnings, for ME, for now. That could change.

For me personally:

#1: Cash Games

#2 SNG's

...

#3 MTT's

You may as well be playing a lottery. Especially with turbo MTT's :)

I strongly believe learning how to master cash games will be significantly more profitable than tournaments, barring exceptional luck, not to mention the best way to improve as a player. A lot of the hands play themselves in tournaments and theres not much decisions left to you, nowhere near as much as cash games anyways.

just my two cents.

MTT tournaments are more profitable for any player than cash games, because here you cannot lose a lot of money in one hand. Although, there are players who just hate tournaments.

Cash games on ggpoker may be more profitable if you get a high spot on the leaderboards (the rewards are quite high, I got 27 dollars twice).
