Why do you love poker, and how did you get into it?

In my case, 2 years ago, I saw some tournament on internet and there was some enormous money involved, so I just wanted to see is it hard to play and could I get some money out of it. I didn't get much money, now I play micros and freerolls, and i find poker very interesting game, where you need to use your feeling, logic and sometimes you need luck.What about you?

Here in Brazil it was not common to know card players or chess players as chess so I was always curious to learn poker and chess. With the advent of Facebook and with him several games I learned poker and chess. Since then, I am a regular player of these games.

For me poker is NLHE; what I love about NLHE is that you have to play perfectly, you can lose your whole stack with one bad call (and therefore hours of playing).

why i llove poker

I got into poker 10 years ago at my local cardroom they have a 3 6 game and I would play like 1 time a week their from their I started playing online and its been great.

online poker drew me in. Allowed me to learn the game from my living room without losing money. The challenge and strategy behind the game make it a constant learning experience. I miss the variety of games that Pokerstars offered.

what's really interesting is I got into an online card game called Hearthstone and a lot of the live streamers online who would play that game also played probability based games including poker. then poker got added to twitch and really it was this particular streamer I watch "reckful" who got me into poker. he's really good at it but doesn't stream it that often because when you stream poker you need to stream with a 5 minute delay, so it's not really "live" its 5 minutes delayed. Anyway he didnt like that, but it got me into online poker and I've been playing now for like a year to a year and a half.

I was the youngest of five kids at the time no more than 4 years old when we would go to grandma's house (we called her nan) and she would dump out the penny jar and play poker with us and we got to keep anything we won. It's been a love affair ever since.

I learned at a young age like Chief above me ^. Cousins and sibling and I would sit around with our step-grandpa and play various poker games with a set of chips. We never actually gambled for real money, but it was tons of fun. I then got into playing online years later and decided to look for info and found this place.. and that's all she wrote.

I enjoy playing games, and not just poker, especially where you have to do some thinking. I think it's fun when you use info to make a decision and end up being correct.
