Hahahah everyone needs monies in life but wanting it to the main point is not the point of playing. Its like throwing rocks of the roof and per rock you get 1 euros and still it sucks. Play poker because you can practice if someone in real life lies/bluff on front of you, its a good exp for life. So I like more playing "live" on poker tables which makes online alternative but also fun like any other card game

I started playing poker at 5-6 months with friends in college. From there I became interested more and more in this game in an inexplicable way. I do not think about being a professional player. I play as hobby!

Mainly a way to pass the time , its more a hobby for me than a money maker. If i win some here and there great, if i dont...im not heart broken,

I like the game. It gives me a lot of fut and good emotions. Sometimes I can win some money and spend it on my needs. Poker is a great game!

If you play only for the money,you can`t reach full potential to be good player.I mean constantly thinking of money would be a "curse" of all apsects of your life.

bom o poker hoje é considerado um esporte pra mente, em logico muita gente vê ele ainda como um jogo de azar, mais isso não passa de um mero mito! eu conheci esse joga ja faz 1 ano e dela pra cá eu não consegui larga mais esse jogo! adora joga poker e passar meu tempo na frente de uma tela jogando ou vendo grandes nomes do poker jogando no mundo..... eu espero um dia chegar entre esses grandes nomes do poker!

its the fact that it is the only sport where you can sit down against any one of any class and any bankroll and it doesnt matter who you are, its the ultimate game of chess, bluff skill and nerve and at the end of it you can walk away extremely well off..you meet all kinds of people and almost always have a great time. Id much rather play a poker tourney than goto a crap nite club drinking

I love this game because I learned it when I was a kid, and this is a game that we have to think so much and have strategy and I like that , I think that the poker is te best cards game of the world, and it is most popular cards game, and it's funny to play with your friends or in sites like pokerstars and we can earn money too , I love poker

your motivation to play?

In my case it was tmb for fun and curiosity about the game, then try to learn and understand the mechanism thereof in each tournament q scored I wear my best , depending on the game, sometimes it goes well and others less so. .. I have been lucky enough to win some money , that adds motivation and desire to excel.

I like poker for the mental aspect of it. nothing is more fun then owning someone with your mind and showing domination over someone. plus its free online and kills time. playing poker beats reading a book too

I keep thinking someday I will win a big tournament and be able to stop working and go on a permanent vacation. But since that doesn't seem very likely since variation keeps taking back all of my winnings I'll just keep playing for fun.

I'm drawn to poker for a multitude of reasons. I started young (12) so I've always understood the game fairly well. I love reading peoples emotions or tendencies and trying to figure out whats going on in their head. It's a challenging hobby that can also bring friends together for a great time!
