The Reason I play poker is to keep my mind active.Is a good way to think, ponder learn new things and just enjoy. I play for the excitement of taking down big pots and the excitement of getting into the money even tho you did not even win back your buy in. And I find it exciting to get through 712 players to get to the final table in a 10 dollar free roll. poker is a great thing to do when you do not feel like say cleaning your apartment LOL.

One night I saw on television that 20 years boy poker game against a much older and was really relaxed compared to others, but what I like more that others had respect for him regardless of his age. I like when they respect you because of your knowledge and skills, plus you can get some really serious money for that knowledge and skills.

I started playing poker not long ago,the game I really liked it,very fascinating,I want to achieve great success,to play like a professional,and of course I want to win tournaments,but so far little is obtained,I hope here in this club I learn something.and while I play for my interest and entertainment

Me the reason that I play poker it gives me some thing to do but I also enjoy playing cards has well. I hope that some time this year that I make a live tourney either here in southern Ohio or southern Indiana. I would like to get into one tourney and hope that I will be able to cash out would be nice to put some extra money in my pocket.

I play for many reasons. The competition, money, power, control. Also for the social aspect of the game. And another thing why wouldn't you play? What do people do that don't play poker. Sounds boring to me.

Why do I play poker.... HMMMM good question.... I play online poker because I have way too much free time on my hands an just sitting there watching TV doesn't do it for me, I need to keep my brain active. ( weather good or bad ) I find I throw away more money away online but I only play small stakes. Now I also play Live tourney at our local casino a couple times a year an well thats for real money an I just simply love the competitive atmosphere. I always played competitive sports until i got hurt so this is about the only way left i can flex my competitive muscles.
