If there are a million reasons to play poker, what's the number one reason that will push you to quit?

If I didn't even have the opportunity to play for real money, I would play for virtual money because I love this game so much. I don't think I'll ever stop playing.

if there are no free tournaments, it will be a big reason for people not to play as poker attracts with its free games in which any poker player can earn money if they did not exist, I think many players would give up poker

You should quit if you don't have enough time to study and to play relaxed.

If I start turning down social events IRL, I’ll stop playing online poker. I would probably play a bit live still, though. 🙂

I think poker players who into freerolls are the same players who plays the slot machine when in the Casino.

The only reason would be a bad internet connection. Nothing worse than an interrupt and half your stack on the table

Nah… Just a hobby for me. I play when I have time. If not, I would probably do without it.
I do enjoy playing though. 😊

My son's opinion. If he had once said that poker interferes with our interaction, I would have ended it without looking back.

If you don't overdo it with losing, it's not a problem. You can stop the game at any time and you don't have to take big steps to do it. I treat the game as a hobby and as it happens in life there is not always time to play so naturally breaks take themselves from the game.

For me, I think it would be a massive win, but not one so massive that it totally meant I didn't have to work anymore.

To expand, say I won $100k I think I might quit. I'd be up 100k plus rest of lifetime earnings.....time for something else. However, if that win was monumental, like say, $2 Million, then I would be more like, right. 500k bankroll, 500K for travelling to all these tourneys. 1 million to live on for the rest of my life.

Actually I've changed my mind. I wouldn't quit, but I would play way much less, just for fun.

There's no reason to quit, just to keep a balance between poker and your real life, not to imbalance things. Then you wont have reasons to quit

The moment I get bored, I will quit. However, I don't get bored until I hit my objectives... So, there's still a long way to go.

I quit EVERY TIME I find something even better to spend my time on, and for me that has happened many times already. Many people depend on Poker, but I will never let it dominate my life.

Boredom!
I do sometimes get bored when playing Poker! Sad I know, but I do want to get involved again in the game, I just cannot find the reason to get ready for a night out at the Pub to play!
With rising Beer prices and Taxi Fares it is just too expensive to go out! :(
