I am Nancy Birnbaum - an accomplished poker player and successful business woman. Prior to becoming one of the most successful women poker players, I was a top producer with BMW for over 20 years.

Upon leaving BMW, I sold real estate in Sarasota, Florida for 7 years and was ranked in the top 1% out of 15,000 agents in the Sarasota County Board of Realtors.

While living in Sarasota, I began playing poker in 2006 at the Hard Rock in Tampa at small table buy- ins. I started to play sit-n-goes and began studying the game intently toward my goal of becoming a successful, professional poker player. I honed my skill of reading people and developed a solid winning strategy.

My hard work has paid off. I started traveling the wsop Circuit and today I am the only woman to have won 3 gold WSOP rings and a woman’s pendant. In the 2012 – 2013 season I was the top female on the Circuit with the most cashes and earnings. I have had the pleasure of meeting Nancy in person and she is really a great lady. While for obvious reasons I prefer her to be at the table next to me instead of on my table

- she is fun to play with.

One thing I have noticed about Nancy is that she knows everybody and everybody loves her!

Welcome to CardsChat, Nancy, and glad to know that you're on the team. I lived in Sarasota for 5 years through the mid to late 90s. Nice town, great beaches. I regret not purchasing a home there. Anything between S. Tamiami and S. Orange was probably a good bet.

Hi everyone, my name is Katie Stone. I have been playing poker since 2004, and have been playing full time since 2009. I started as a live player in Dallas, TX playing local cash games and traveling to casinos in Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi for tournaments. I played my first WSOP $1500 event (which had a 1500 chip starting stack!) in Las Vegas in 2006. In 2009 I started traveling abroad for EPT's and WPT's but eventually became a full time online tournament player in 2010. After Black Friday, I moved to Vegas and then eventually to Rosarito, Mexico where I have been playing online for the last couple of years. I accidentally moved back to my home state of NJ a few months ago when my boyfriend and I were visiting family for the holidays and never went back to Mexico. We decided to stay and grind the newly formed NJ sites full time while mixing in live series in PA and Atlantic City. It's definitely been fun being able to play online and be near family again!

Hi to all those who don't know me from CC already - I'm scourrge!!

I've been playing poker on and off for about 7 or 8 years, but I've been working on my game seriously for the past 2 straight. While I don't play for a living, I have grinded up a small roll from nothing a few times, and last summer I deposited $150 on Bovada and turned it into about $3,000 in a few months.

I started playing live poker immediately upon turning 21 (about a year and a half ago). The transition was rocky for me, but I grew a lot as a player and as a person because of it. I still play online, but I love the vibe of live play.

I used to play MTT's here and there on Carbon, where I had a few scores in the realm of a few hundred, but my biggest score came on Bovada, with a win worth about $1,000. I've only played about 10 live tournaments in my life, but I've final tabled 3 of them, two of which were cashes, and one of those being a win for $2,300.

I've never been to Vegas, and am really looking forward to representing CC at the series for my first visit!!

Hi all,

I'm Shauna, some of you may know me online and on other forums as AAmaz0n. I started playing poker in the long long ago in the days of the Silver Slipper, Frontier and Desert Inn, mostly in between long sessions of blackjack.

Online, I played all the sites from the early days of IRC until Black Friday, and have been haunting the SoCal card rooms since the turn of the century.

This will be my third WSOP, and hopefully my best. Looking forward to meeting everyone and running good in Vegas.
