I am the same, I play as much as possible but within my limits. So I do not think we are addicts, because addicts have no control.

no poker I play when I have the will and strength to play. In order to get a great result, you need strength and you have to be in good shape so I only play when I'm at my best because I go to poker to win

it is very logical, if there is no money, then there is no opportunity to play (except for free tournaments)

I must admit I was addicted to Texas Hold-em Poker and played every day for years, I even ran a weekly League match at my local pub for about 4 or 5 years, winning places in a regional final many times and travelled to Manchester, Liverpool and Coventry to play.
Things changed or started to change just before the Covid pandemic, the Landlord at my local pub was fired and as I was doing the weekly game more as a favour for him I felt obligated to stop as I didn't feel like I was appreciated by the new Landlord as I used to be under the old Landlord, and wanted to play more than just running the game.
Then Covid put a stop to the local games and I turned back to On-line games, this however seemed to get boring after a while and even though I was making money I just felt something was missing and I just burnt myself out of playing. I was playing for 8 to 12 hours a day and I just lost the attraction the game held for me, I still want to return to playing but at the moment I get more fun from playing Solitaire, Sad isn't it!

No, poker for me is a hobby. I dont feel the need to play now, when I easily could. I play when the mood suits. I can go days, sometimes weeks without playing.

As with any hobby of mine, I can grow quite obsessed with something. But nowadays I substituted my Poker 'addiction' for other addictions; Poker just doesn't excite me as it used to.

I don't play when I don't have free time. But for me, poker is primarily entertainment, not addiction. However, I also have a bad habit, unfortunately I have been smoking for many years.

I play for fun. I am not addicted to the game because for me poker is first of all just a hobby. I play mainly in freerolls, and I do not invest my own funds unnecessarily.
