You can become rich with anything in life, with patience and a strong work ethic. You can go broke quick in poker though, that’s for sure

It is unlikely that you will get rich playing poker if you take poker as a hobby if you focus only on poker and go to tournaments you play constantly I would not say that you will get rich from it but if it is more likely that you will get a higher income than you make you have a comfortable life, but that is if for that you need to have a lot of experience playing and study everything about the game.

I have heard that Warren Buffet used it to sharpen his investment skills. Depending on your definition of rich it might be possible for a few people to do so more directly. Not very likely.

I say yes, 100%. You have to be committed to learning and improving your game. Sometimes its hard to look back at your session and just say, yup I played bad. It happens, but keep an open mind and try to take the emotion out of it. Best of luck to you all.

Im sure that all depends in what you consider rich. For me it's just being able to pay my bills and having enough to enjoy certain pleasures in life. So yeah, it's possible for someone to become rich playing poker.
