Poker is simply NOT gambling, but just like gambling, Poker is addictive in any way if you always win. I play poker all day all night and I can’t stop. I’m just not addicted since I always win.

I don't think I'm addicted to Poker. Although I like to play a lot and when I have free time I spend a lot of time on it, I don't feel like being addicted. like all types of games, it tends to become addiction. for now I do not need help is not a problem for me and I have it under control. I only play when I have time and I don't stop doing the most important things to play.

If you play only you can afford your not addicted. But when you have a loosing streak and you can't stop from playing and you lose more that you can afford that is addiction, and you need help!

I would say yo can become addicted of almost anything, so for sure also poker. And the real danger is, you don't really see the problem, or you don't really see that you are already addicted. Each one is responsible for himself.

Poker could turn out just like other often called (devils activities) lol like alcohol, drugs, often cigarettes the koje often we indulge in them and the kite they become part of our everyday lives there is always that risk of addiction and unlike other addictive activities poker if not played/handled properly can leave you penniless and possibly loss of loved ones...in my 10 years playing full time I have seen it from personal friends at least 5 times ....so play smart and have a good understanding of situations if you feel like its turning in a bad way and always practice good bankroll management

My answer is a big YES..It finds that people who regularly sit down for a game of poker are at high risk of gambling-related harm, largely due to their participation in other forms of gaming.

I say yes, if you rush to do things, in your regular life, to make it to play poker, like a cousin of mine, I say you are addicted. My cousin is so addicted , he rushes his work, just to play poker. If you put the right things in life first, before poker then you are addicted.

While I Purely Enjoy playing I can't imagine becoming addicted. I'm somewhat addicted to reading more and more instructional videos so much so that I feel like my head could explode.

Poker is addictive because it's a game of both skill and luck. Games where outcomes are partially in player's control and partially out of player's control are highly addictive. ... Poker requires skill and self-control to win consistently over time.

As with any gambling game, whether it's slot machines, sweepstakes, racetracks, etc., there is a danger of getting addicted. The desire of a person to get everything at once, to hit the jackpot, to win the tournament is in each of us. Another thing is to really evaluate your strength, calculate the probability of winning, calculate the funds necessary to achieve the goal will allow you not to turn into a gambler.

It's actually a pretty tough question. I mean for some it's their occupation so of course they have to spend a lot of time studying, playing, and putting in work. The question is when it crosses over to addiction. I think as with all things if it starts to interfere with family life and financial stability then it's definitely a problem.

it really depends on ur character
if ur the competitive type then the mix between skill and luck poker offers is lethal for you
addiction is a fact
but then again its the same competitive characteristic that can turn this addiction into a learning process that rewards more than it costs
