Yes, you can, easily actually.
You really can, and honestly it isn't that difficult. Learning a solid foundation and pairing it with a solid understanding of ranges and tendencies of the majority of players should be enough to make you a winner at low stakes. I highly recommend starting with low stakes MTT's 1-5$ Buyins and using a simplified strategy. If you are able to study and learn a solid pre-flop & post-flop strategy and be able to execute it on a regular basis, you will crush these stakes quite quickly. I will link you some study material that will help you get this foundation at the bottom.
I recommend trying low stakes/low field MTT's on sites such as GGpoker/ACR. GGpoker has a great night time line-up of 1-5$ MTT's that normally have been 60-200 players and offer smaller guarentees, but following a set strategy and putting in the volume of games will prove to bring you success.
The reason that 95% of poker players are losing players is quite simple, they don't want to learn anything, don't want to put any effort into anything, and nobody ever admits when they are wrong. Also if you look at the population as a whole, most people are low IQ, and if you have ever been to a casino, the majority of players there are also not the brightest, there is no real difference online(until we get into high stakes).
Try reading some of Jonathan Little's poker books on MTT's and watch his videos on YouTube. After you get a good understanding of the basics, give the BBZ Apestyles bundle a try which will enforce these good fundamentals and discuss general population tendencies much more. If you play on sites that allow a HUD, use a HUD. Buy it, watch videos on YouTube on how to use it, and use it to exploit players. There are lots of free materials on the web that can help you, but I would say investing 200-300$ to get your journey started on materials might even give you the motivation you need to keep going
One more very important thing I wan't to talk about is mindset. You need to learn to take bad beats, we all have them, they happen, shut up about them. I have a friend who thinks he is the unluckiest player in the entire world and messages me daily with his badbeat stories. We all have those days, it happens, suck it up and move on. KEEP GRINDING, STUDYING, and ... GRINDING!
