Do you bluff in online poker?

I bluff like a mad man and I am trying to curb this a bit. Ive been focused on throwing out an information bet that someone couldnt call unless they have something on the board and then checking from there. For too long I would try to 3 barrell bluff and would get caught over and over - ive lost so much money trying to 3 barrell.

I like bluffing here and there. Although, I play on micro, so it's quite common that players don't fold - even if their hands are really bad. I guess it doesn't happen so frequently on high stakes.

Bluff is necessary in poker , but u must know the time when to do it . Also , if you play against the same players always , don t try to bluff a lots , because some thé players knows ur method of playing. So they will be waiting for you to bluff, may even stacked you .

Bluffing is absolutely an important part of the game, however, many of the training programs out there feel as though people bluff waaaay to often. If you bluff to often and then get caught your bluffs won't get as much respect from that point on.

Absolutely one has to bluff sometimes to win the pot, that's important,
I think that is what distinguishes the best of those who are lying worse.

And yes, sometimes I bluff. But I rarely do and I did not hesitate to lie down if my opponent more bluff than me. Sometimes (on multi tables) there are so many players that bluffers

Ya I bluff all the time in online poker. This is how you win!

Seriously though, there are a few things to look for.

1. Telling a believable story. The board runout allows you to rep several strong hands that should be in your range. Always ask yourself what does he think I have.

2. Opponent is NOT a calling station. The WTSD% stat on your HUD is extremely important here. In general I am looking to bluff people with a WTSD% of 23 or less in full ring, 25 or less in 6-max.

Yes the occasional bluff works especially at certain times I tend to bluff when my opponent is on a draw and it seems like they did not hit. Also I tend to bluff when it is close to the money. I usually bluff if I have a big stack or decent size stack and when I'm the aggressor.

Occasionally, since every hand is situational, you have to feel you have a good read on your opponent and act accordingly. Going with your gut works for me more often than not.

I think it's very important to learn how to represent hands in certain spots. If the only time you ever bet is when you have a monster hand everyone will catch on and you'll slowly blind down from getting no action!

today in three tournaments I've had some successful bluffs but did not abuse it because I could be taken note of and it would lead to failure.

Learned something from years playing poker, you want to win a tournament? have to bluff and have to be aggressive, but always clear strategy with nothing to act as a maniac.
