I bluff like a mad man and I am trying to curb this a bit. Ive been focused on throwing out an information bet that someone couldnt call unless they have something on the board and then checking from there. For too long I would try to 3 barrell bluff and would get caught over and over - ive lost so much money trying to 3 barrell.

I like bluffing here and there. Although, I play on micro, so it's quite common that players don't fold - even if their hands are really bad. I guess it doesn't happen so frequently on high stakes.

Seriously though, there are a few things to look for.

1. Telling a believable story. The board runout allows you to rep several strong hands that should be in your range. Always ask yourself what does he think I have.

2. Opponent is NOT a calling station. The WTSD% stat on your HUD is extremely important here. In general I am looking to bluff people with a WTSD% of 23 or less in full ring, 25 or less in 6-max.

Yes the occasional bluff works especially at certain times I tend to bluff when my opponent is on a draw and it seems like they did not hit. Also I tend to bluff when it is close to the money. I usually bluff if I have a big stack or decent size stack and when I'm the aggressor.
