And just a short story that significantly influenced my life:
I was a teenager, I was heading home from high school, waiting for my bus at the stop. Across the road, an orange barrier about 1 meter high was trying to prevent pedestrians from crossing instead of the pedestrian crossing. Yet a guy around 30-35 tried it, ran, and tried to jump over like a stumbling block. Needless to say, he failed, got stuck in the railing and slammed it across the railing ... so he got to where he wanted to go anyway. But He didn't let it go, he climbed back !!!!! and ran again. For the second time he has succeeded.Never give up !!!!!

Hiya
I play poker for fun.
Only free rolls to start with.

If I win some money than I play SNG or MTT small/Micro buy ins.

So no stress for me.
To satiate my gambling instinct I play Live poker in a Casino nearby.

I think poker players need to demand more transparency from their online platforms because too many people complain of the same pattern of losing...play well one day then miss everything to lose whatever they've won the day after....

I constantly feel like I'm doing something wrong. Of course, there are few samples, but I definitely remember a couple of races that got knocked out before the big score, as well as being a bubble boy in a former promo race ... well all1. I am not bitter, but this year I have to find a video that I can improve on because somehow I do very poorly in the early stages. I may be too tight or I just can't feel MTT for cash. But, of course, it just might not come out smoothly.

Hi, kusu2014! You ask: "Poker profitable? Or not?" Listen, the answer in the question itself!
For someone he is a profitable, for someone is not. If someone losing, means someone win!

I just wanted to know that in the long run, this could really be profitable. And maybe there is somebody here who will succeed this month

As we have already understood, online poker for money can bring real income. But to do this, the game must be taken as seriously as possible. Do not think that poker for money will be no different from poker for virtual chips. Success in all sorts of applications in social networks will not guarantee victory in these poker rooms. These poker games can not be compared closely.
A player who wants to make money on poker should immediately determine his motivation and willingness to work on himself. The fact is that poker for earnings turns into a real routine work with all the ensuing consequences. In order to succeed, you need to work hard. And it concerns not only practice, but also theory. Today on the Internet you can find all sorts of educational articles on poker. And if you do not study them, then very quickly find yourself on the"roadside".

Definitely so if you are a serious man and you know how to win.
1. Diligence is the mother of success.
2. A patient man wins the day.
3. Make haste slowly.

Too many things did not come to my mind, perhaps that I must be more collected than ever in October, if so - if so, but now we will disperse the people, come topreg or fish! “It's not like getting on the floor, but not getting up from there!:D

Yeah man, it's not easy to say that poker is profitable. Some players do good in cash games, but in tournaments, you really need to hit a big one to be able to talk about profit. GL.

For me poker is first of all a pleasure. Pleasure and profit are two very different things in my opinion.

profit from poker

you could profit if you have a big money in your account. so in the worst case if you loose many times even in a raw, you still could make a difference and recover your looses.
It's very hard to play poker in a profitable way, you will get to a point that you could not control your self and could not stay disciplined and try to make more by gambling.

It can be profitable if you do the work (study a lot). Just like in any other field 😉

In poker only a small minority of players will be profitable. That is how the economy of the game works.

I play to have some fun. I have no illusions of profitability in the game.

When we play versus an opponent that we know is trying to think during play and is considered as a good player should we look for cbet frequencies that makes us harder to exploit and we lean towards more optimal strategy? Playing this type of opponent should we have one cbet sizing or still, vary this depending on the type and strength of a hand we hold

Poker might be profitable for many as it sounds, but sure as heck not for me.

It all depends on how you know how to play poker. If it’s weak, then play freerolls and then go play wherever you want with the money you won. When you learn to play normally, then take your money for the game. No need to learn from your money. It is not profitable.

Again, it's my own method of trying to float in my mind that the current result / session / series does not affect my potential fixed hourly wage, as it is given to long-term performance, not what series you have. An integral part of long-term performance is the ability to stay calm during the period in question. Maybe it's a bit childish and funny, but at this time, I can draw strength from imagining that when this bad streak comes to an end and I make money out of it, let's say I cook my belly out of that many fish money :D

As an hourly rate it is not profitable for me to play poker time wise.
However I have won several thousand dollars over several years and use the money on Netflix and to buy books.
I'm also about to replace my Television and the money I have won will go towards that.
Unless you are an expert player, then it would be extremely hard to make large amounts of money from online poker.

They say luck is rolling. Once down another time up. Unfortunately, the above has not yet come. I don't play big stakes and I didn't win any more money.

I am net positive, but I cannot say poker could be my work. Perhaps it could be, but then I must play higher stakes which I cannot afford.

Now I really hope that luck really hits me because my long-haul flight is only right now - I fell $ 29 but it didn't work out well. And now I didn't forbid it, I had no stupid things, just popped it in and it was done.
There was a hyper-super fish at one table with a 94/58 stake and won against everyone. Always miniraiselt then I immediately called allin with AQs, which of course came the call. Of course, nothing fell for me, and he hit 610 on the turn. It was funny

Principle One: The Law of Power
Usually we want to bet when our hand is strong, wait when it is medium, and when we are weak, we fold or bluff. Usually this is correct
