I don't play like that anymore, but of course I slow-rolled to set a trap. When I find someone trying to be the sheriff of the table and I have an opportunity to slow-roll, I'm very happy.

honestly, there is almost never a good reason to slow-roll unless you are playing a friendly home game with close buddies, or maybe giving a toxic player a taste of their own medicine. It is just bad etiquette."Hollywooding" during a hand is totally fine since it's part of the psychological game and strategy, but slow-rolling at showdown is just disrespectful and ruins the mood at the table
