I prefer silence. I don't like empty talk, it's distracting. Unless my opponent is a pretty girl, then I won't mind talking.

I tend to chat a lot at the start—partly just to figure out who I’m playing against, since any information is useful for the game.
But later on, as the game progresses, I stop talking and stay silent, leaving them to wonder all sorts of things about me—or nothing at all.

I am pretty quiet when i am at a live poker table , but i will chat with players sitting next to me .I try to concentrate on how my opponents are playing .

i think it is the best strategy to distract people from focusing on their game and even it will helpfull sometime while we can assume what cards do the opponents having.
