Does anyone know the age of the oldest first time participant in the wsop. I will be 80 when I play my first event next year and while I doubt that will be the record I am wondering what is?

You're good. Eugene Calden was the oldest first timer at the age of 100. In 2023.
He is also the oldest person ever playing a WSOP Main Event

What are you talking about?!?! Of course you can set some records.
A few I can think of off the top of my head.. .
First time WSOP player cashes in first bracelet event he plays in.
First time WSOP player final tables the Monster Stack.
First time WSOP player at 80yrs. young, takes 2nd place in the WSOP Super Senior's event (I'm hoping to play this one next year).
