Do they have any WSOP events online? The poster may have meant to say that, but she didn't. ;)

They do have wsop events online. I know they have online satellites at various sites, namely WSOP.COM and GGPoker (there may be others).

Since my experience is almost only online-micro I would avoid high-fee tourneys. I would split these 10K to lower entrance fee games $300-$600 and start in as many I could.

I would only play the Main Event, as it would be the biggest dream to participate in it at least once, even though there is a chance that I might not make it into the money and get eliminated early, but at least I would have participated once and had the chance to win something big.

Assuming I was there for the entire length of the WSOP, and not counting firing multiple bullets (I always try to save back 1 rebuy, just in case):

Event #1: No-Limit Hold'em Mini Mystery Millions - $550 x 2 (for 2 flights, not rebuys)
Event #10: No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack - $600 (Assuming that I totally crap out in Event #1 and not playing in that one anymore)
Event #25: No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout - $500
Event #34: No-Limit Hold'em Colossus - $500 x 2 (for 2 flights, not rebuys)
Event #43: No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack 8-Handed - $800
Event #63: No-Limit Hold'em Mystery Millions - $1,000
Event #72: No-Limit Hold'em Mini Main Event - $1,000
Event #78: No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack Championship - $600
Event #86: No-Limit Hold'em Ultra Stack - $600
Event #88: No-Limit Hold'em Gladiators of Poker - $300 x 3 (for 3 flights, not rebuys)
Event #98: No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack - $800

Total: $8,900

I would basically target games for $1,000 and under. There are a few other games for under $1,000, but some had the possibility of running at the same time as some of these games listed. I would fill the last $1,100 with satellites. And that's all depending on rebuys and lengths of certain games.

Looks like a good plan Mort. On my only trip tp Vegas I played a couple of them, but the only game I cashed in was a bounty game, $1100 entry with a bounty of $300 per player. I got 11 bounties, and I finished about 10 players after the bubble had burst.

Go back again one day, and win a tourney.

I'm the kind of person who likes to look fate, luck, and misfortune in the eye (unfortunately, misfortune has been looking me in the eye more than it should), and I enjoy the risk of betting everything. That said, I would put everything on the $10,000 buy-in and live this unique moment in the best way I could, playing my A-game and seeing where it and the gods of the cards would take me.

hi folks,

i would love to play there and i would choose more tournaments(round about 10tourneys)
with lower buyin because then i can re entry more easier if im unlucky in the first days of WSOP ;-)

Event #1: $550 Mini Mystery Millions
Event #10: $600 Deepstack No-Limit Hold’em
Event #13: $1,500 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em
Event #15: $600 Deepstack Pot-Limit Omaha
Event #28: $600 Deepstack Mixed No-Limit Hold'em; Pot-Limit Omaha
Event #34: $500 COLOSSUS
Event #50: $1,500 Millionaire Maker
Event #63: $1,000 Mystery Millions
Event #78: No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack Championship - $600
Event #86: No-Limit Hold'em Ultra Stack - $600
Event #98: No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack - $800

= 8850$ would be my maximum of registered tournament buyins but i would skip 1-3 tournaments if i had a deep run and choose to invest more in 2-3 toruneys where it is cheaper to get a re-entry ;-).

Good Luck

If I were to play the WSOP, I'd want to pick a schedule that I could spread out as long as possible, while not having many gaps to maximize my time, so my schedule would look something like this:

5/30 - WSOP Event #1: $550 No-Limit Hold'em Mini Mystery Millions - Flight F
5/31 - WSOP Event #10: $600 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack
6/1 - WSOP Event #13: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed
6/2 - WSOP Event #16: $1,700 No-Limit Hold'em U.S. WSOP Circuit Championship
6/4 - WSOP Event #18: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack - Flight B
6/5 - WSOP Event #22: $1,500 Big O - Flight A
6/7 - WSOP Event #25: $500 No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout
6/8 - WSOP Event #30: $1,500 Limit Hold'em
6/9 - WSOP Event #34: $500 No-Limit Hold'em Colossus - Flight A

With the $150 left over, I'd play a daily non-bracelet event on the 3rd or the 6th.

OK i would take a very interesting route if given 10K for the WSOP.

I happen to be at an interesting point in my poker career. While playing for a bracelet would be fun, and I would definitely take the advantage of it, I'm trying to see what kind of a player I am overall. Given $10,000, what could I do with it? I would obviously want to play bracelet events, but if I want to know how really good I am, where could I get the most bang for my buck, utilize the $10,000 to see what I truly am, and play for a bracelet? Schedule below is what I would pick. Now while this may look to be very odd to most people, I would actually get to play almost daily throughout the whole thing and be scheduled to play 36 events, including 9 bracelet events. All right, technically, it would be 7 events, 3 flights, and the gladiators. But by playing so many games, I would get to play the whole series. Maybe not for a bracelet, but just to see what I could do once in my life. While it would be lovely to play in more bracelet events, or even the main event, which is a bucket item that will never happen, this is what I would do with that $10,000. And the best part is, if I do well, it might be the proof I need to really take my game to the next level.

Event #1: No-Limit Hold'em Mini Mystery Millions - $550
Event #10: No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack - $600
Event #25: No-Limit Hold'em Freezeout - $500
Event #34: No-Limit Hold'em Colossus - $500
Event #78: No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack Championship - $600
Event #86: No-Limit Hold'em Ultra Stack - $600
Event #88: No-Limit Hold'em Gladiators of Poker - $300 x 3 (for 3 flights )

This would be $4,250.00 of the funds.

Daily's I would play 4 senior event $250.00 each
Daily $200.00 event I would play 20 of them
Daily $250.00 I would play 3 of them.

This would total the $10,000.00 we were given.

This would be a dream scenario if it happened for me.

The only question I wonder Ken - would you stay in Vegas for the entire time?

HI Chris,

I would actually stay the whole series. It would be a once in a lifetime option though.

I would prefer to play several smaller tournaments with lower buy-ins to try and win back at least the ten thousand dollars rather than risk everything on a single tournament against the world's top professionals.

I would stick to fast paced No Limit Holdem:

Event #31: $1,500 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em

Event #84: $5,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em

Event #100: $1,000 Super Turbo No-Limit Hold'em (Try to double up fast, use 2 max rebuys here)

I'm a bit of a Slam-it Sally so gives me best chance of clawing some money back.

I would play as many games as possible with the 10k, risking everything on just one game wouldn't be viable with my current training and earnings. The wool doesn't weigh on the sheep, and maybe 10k isn't a burden for someone at that level of entry payout.

To lazy to make a list so....

All my events would be lower limit NLH events. Preferably FREEZEOUTS and long blind levels. Not sure there's enough of them to equal 10k. So too use whatever $$$ are left over I'd play longer blind level MTT's with, limited re-buys and deep-stacks. That outta easily destroy 10k :ROFLMAO:.

As much as I love @Sunz of Beaches Main Event idea I really want more chances to cash and run deep over a 1 drop for 10k. If I cash/run deep in any of my MTT's before the Main Event I'll buy my way into the Main Event with winnings.

Cheers!!!

I would love to play, but I'm not away, we're at war and the borders are closed, so I would donate 10k to Phil Hellmut for his fish game))

Load a large backpack with layers of clothes, snacks, drinks and keep it right next to me at the table or hang it over a chair. An adrenaline rush as the game is broadcast to the entire world with the cards open.Playing tight and just soaking up the atmosphere will be fun in itself; much better than getting knocked out after 4 hours.

The schedule for the 2026 WSOP has games starting next month (May 26th) through July 15th (Day One of the Main Event starts on July 2nd).

I know I've dreamed about entering the Main Event, but even if I could afford the buy-in, I'm not sure I could play well in such a grueling and multi-day event! But that's just me. So let's dream a little and see what you would do in this scenario:

You are given $10,000, but the catch is that it can only be spent only on registering for WSOP events.

So, how would you use it?
The super seniors event used to have age 65 as the entry point…they changed it to 60 the year I turned 65…I was going to play it because at 65, I would be one of the youngest, and these events do require a lot of stamina.

They keep adding new events, so I’m waiting for the event that you must be over 73 years old, under 5’2” and over 165 lbs, with curly hair to qualify.
