Some players prefer focusing on one table, while others comfortably play 6, 10 or even more.

How many tables do you normally play, and do you think multitabling improves or hurts your decision-making?

I have no limit on the number of tables, but if I don't feel comfortable I prefer to play only at one table.

4 simultaneous tables is my limit to feel comfortable and focused on the games, more than that I tend to get lost in reasoning.

I usually play at 4 tables because they fit well on my monitor. But since online poker is a very dynamic game, I have come to the conclusion that playing at 1 table is just a waste of my time.

I usually prefer 4–6 tables. It keeps things interesting without rushing decisions. If I go too high, I feel like I'm playing on autopilot and miss important reads. For me, quality of decisions matters more than volume.

I play a maximum of 4 tables at the same time due to my laptop monitor's limitations, but I could play around 10 at the same time, if I had a large Wide Screen available, I've already memorized my technique robotically, I enter few, this would allow me to play more calmly.

I usually play 4-5 sometimes up to 6 tables at a time. Having more tables running do somewhat degrade the quality of decision making, since you might have multible tables requiring your attention at the same time, and this force you to speed up decisions. With practice though you can learn to overcome this by focusing on the most important decisions and perhaps getting rid of marginal spots at other tables, if you are in the middle of a big hand.

Double tabling for me as I can size the tables to get both on the screen at the same time perfectly so I can watch every hand on both tables......as I usually always playing full-ring keeping track of 16-18 players, their tendencies and images at the same time is enough for majority of rec/hobby players.

Cheers!!!

Four is what I'm comfortable with. I think I could do 6 if all were cash and I had nice wide display.

You should play on as many tables as you can while maintaining your level of play. I consider eight tables to be ideal so that I don't lose focus or run out of time bank.

I play tournaments, from 6-10 tables, this is enough for the action, but you usually lose concentration, it also depends on whether you use the program for statistics

I’m comfortable with three when playing online more than that it gets to be too much bouncing from one table to the other on the computer at my age..But I do wear computer glasses to help protect my eyes from constantly playing for 2-3 hours sometimes on these tournaments depending on how long I last ..

Sometimes I play 4 to 6 tables, I get out of control, I can't make the right decisions, so for me 3 tables is enough, to have good control.

HU and 3-player: 2-3 tables
short handed: 5-6 tables
normal table: 8-9 tables
These are maximums. I can still play my A game on these, but I get tired sooner and more, so I prefer to play under the table maximums.

It depends a lot on the format, skill level, and your goals.
Cash games: around 4–8 tables to maintain a good quality of decision-making.
MTTs (tournaments): usually 4–8 tables, since each table requires more attention and the situations are constantly changing.
Sit & Go / fast-paced formats: 8–16+ tables, especially when using software and highly automated routines.
High stakes: often fewer tables, sometimes just 1–4, because each decision has much more financial impact.
Micro/low stakes: 12–20+ tables, sacrificing some decision-making quality in exchange for more volume per hour.

I play on mobile—mainly four tables. I’ve gotten used to playing that way because of the convenience of being able to move around.

I play a maximum of 4 tables at the same time. I think that’s a good balance for me, as I can follow the action.
