1 to 2 tables, this is the best for not missing too much of table observation tells.

And due to German regulations the max number is 4.

My favorite number is 4 tables at once. I don’t like playing just one table at a time because it makes me more anxious.

I normally play two tables at a time. It feels like a good balance between having enough action and staying focused on what’s happening. I’ve tried playing more, but I find it’s easier to make better decisions when I’m not spread too thin.

louuu19, under normal conditions I played up to 6 tables, now for electrical reasons in my country, I can only play 2 tables! A lot of times I don't even finish them because I run out of WIFI 🤬
There are two daily blackouts of 6-7 hours a day 😡

Sometimes I play up to eight tables at once, but those are just freerolls. I think if you're playing cash games, one table is ideal, at least for me.

For a beginner like me in Freerolls (due the speed) 4 is absolute max, 3 is okey & 2 is comfy.

Multi-tabling hurts individual decision-making but can increase your overall hourly win rate.
It is a direct trade-off between strategic depth and hand volume:

  • How it hurts: You lose time to think, miss opponent tells (reads), and must play a rigid, automated strategy (ABC poker).
  • Why players do it: Playing more hands compensates for a lower win rate per table, maximizing total hourly profit while reducing boredom.
The key is finding your personal tipping point where adding one more table causes your decision quality to collapse.

I usually play 4–6 tables across different sites. However, for some reason, I get the best results when I play just two tables without rushing. I devote a lot of time to studying my opponents and their playing styles; when there are too many tables, you simply don't have time to analyze everything thoroughly.

When I played on a computer, I used to play at least six tables at once; now I only play on my phone, and I play at two tables.

I played at several tables but gave up because it can get stressful and you really can't follow the players like you should! I prefer not to get bored of opening two tables that I can easily follow. Yesterday for example I played at four tables and it is neither comfortable nor advisable.

More tables can mean more volume, but can also lead to more mistakes.

I play two, three or four tables, depending on the day of the week. On weekends I always play 4 tables. On weekdays I play 2-3 tables.
