Live poker is interesting, I would like to try it, I think it has a great atmosphere, but in my case I prefer online.

I like both, but due to children and limited time, my current poker playing is focussed on online.

There are pros and cons to both. The advantages of live are that you can read tells better and recognise players. The disadvantage is that others are also watching how you play.

With online poker you get a lot of information from the statistics that are displayed for each player. It is also faster, you can play many more hands in the same amount of time.

I think both live or online has it advantage, it depend your condition which type do you want to play suitable for yourseft

I always liked live poker better than online poker.
Unfortunately, there are few opportunities to play legal games in Hungary.

it is completely different to play live versus online. I think it's better to play live.

sitting at a live poker table is a much better feeling than online

Online poker is better in India because live poker is legally allowed only in a few states like Goa and Sikkim, while most of the country restricts it. Online platforms provide easy access, convenience, and a variety of games, making them the preferred choice for players.

Online poker is easier, of course, but I've always wanted to play live. I played live once, but in a top tournament. I liked it, thanks 888 for that.

My goal is to enter a live poker tournament but for now it's only been online

I would only ever play online. You would have to pay me a lot of money to even enter the door to a crowded poker room and I would never ever sit down at a table and play. Being around a big bunch of people is not exactly the way I would want to spend my free time.

For me, it's definitely online poker. But one day I want to play live poker, at least once.

If I had to pick just one, I'd go with live poker. The pace is slower, but I enjoy the social aspect, picking up physical tells, and the overall atmosphere at the table. Online is great for volume and convenience, especially if you're trying to improve quickly, but live poker is just more enjoyable to me.

I prefer online poker. You get more volume, more game selection, and you don't have to travel. Plus, you can play multiple tables at once, which helps you improve much faster.

Like everything in poker it depends.

As posted just above online offers more volume, more game selection, no travel, can play multiple tables, online offers cheaper entry point and you don't have to put with some of the the worst kind of human beings live and in person. About the only upside to live poker is it's way softer vs online.

Cheers!!!

To be fair and honest, if I had a choice in the matter, I do love the live game better than online. The problem is in my area of the world, live games are pretty much dead for tournaments, and that's what I enjoy playing the most. So, I do prefer online at this moment, and even that is limited where I am just because that's the only choice I have in the matter. And what few live tournaments there are around here now are so far out of my price range, it's ridiculous. That's why I go to Vegas for a year and play as many tournaments as I do. It's the only time I can afford it, find games and play them.

I like both , but more i playing online poker . Live poker i like to playing with my friends and drink some beers . 🙂)

In my opinion, both are great, and each has its own advantages. Online poker offers more convenience, a wider variety of games, and the ability to play multiple tables at the same time. Live poker, on the other hand, provides a unique social experience, allows you to observe your opponents more closely, and makes every session more engaging. In the end, I think it all depends on what each player is looking for.
