In my opinion, both are great, and each has its own advantages. online poker offers more convenience, a wider variety of games, and the ability to play multiple tables at the same time. Live poker, on the other hand, provides a unique social experience, allows you to observe your opponents more closely, and makes every session more engaging. In the end, I think it all depends on what each player is looking for.

Brother, on second thought, I wouldn't say that online poker is better than live poker. They're just better for different things.

🖥️ Online: Much more volume, you can play at several tables, check your hands and improve technically faster. But competition can be tougher, you have less physical information, and it's easier to lose control and lose money quickly.

🃏 Live: Fewer hands, but you can read players better, interact with them, and often discover occasional players making big mistakes. The downside is lower game volume and more time spent.

In short: online = better for technique and volume; live = better for reading people, exploiting errors and the social experience. If your goal is to make money, what really matters is finding where the weak players are, not simply if it's online or live.

I prefer online poker because it’s faster, more convenient, and you can play more hands in less time. However, live poker has a completely different atmosphere and gives you more opportunities to read your opponents. I think both have their advantages, but for me, online poker is better overall.

There’s no universal “better” — it depends on what you want as a player.Online is better for volume, learning, and freerolls. Live is better for big money, psychological strategy, and real experience.

Offline is better, because I'm certain the house isn't robbing me, however the disadvantage is that you can't open 4 hands at the same time, so it's not possible to be profitable live.

online, but that's because poker clubs are not as accessible where I live, and because of the convenience of not having to leave home to play, it's quite convenient

I would probably choose online poker as well. I’ve played much more online than live, so I’m more comfortable with the environment and the pace of the game.

One of the biggest advantages for me is convenience. I can play without having to travel anywhere, and I can choose the stakes and tournaments that fit my bankroll. I also like being able to play freerolls and smaller tournaments that might not be available in a local casino.

That said, I can understand why people prefer live poker. Sitting at a real table, seeing the other players and being able to observe their reactions must add a completely different psychological element to the game.

I think I’d like to play more live poker eventually, just to experience the difference. But if I had to choose today, I’d definitely stay with online poker.

Playing online is definitely more convenient—you can play 3–5 tournaments at the same time—plus, traveling to casinos is a hassle.

I have fewer options live but I like it more because I see the division.

I don't have a preference; both have different characteristics, and it depends on what you're up for at the moment. If you want to avoid noise and distractions, online is better. Live play requires more energy and focus.

I would love to play more live. Online feels bit off without seeing the other people, missing the banter and how people react.

I prefer to play online, I'm lazy to play in person, I like it, but to go out I like to get ready, and that wastes time, I also spend a lot of time traveling to the club, and I really like the comfort of my house playing poker

I love playing live tournaments, but with the laws in the Netherlands it's almost impossible unless you are rolled or want to spend 50-100 euro playing in a hyper turbo crapshoots that's an hour's drive away. I get very bored with online cash games but I enjoy them live.

Live…I can play online anytime…if I am playing live poker, that means I’m on vacation.
