One of the rigged arguments out there is that new players always start on upswings. This is a graph of my first few thousand hands after joining a new site. I don't know if this is random chance but I maintained a close to 80bb winrate for over 1500 hands.

The freaky part is how linear the winrate slope is (meaning the winrate stayed stable over that sample)

I am hoping you guys who have joined new sites can post the opposite to show that players can start on losing streaks too lol.

However, for the sake of a fun theoretical discussion; one way a website can do this is by having prop players or house bots that let you off easy after you initially join. Of course house bots would be risky for the reputation of a website so that's probably unlikely, but I think prop players are entirely possible.

If you think it's rigged you're delusional. It's hard to be a winning player, so if you're not don't make excuses that it's rigged but rather enjoy the game because having fun is what the point is.

I think the same thing bet online crazy and that always happens what site is best

I tried BetOnline and the suckouts in that site were insane. They more than regularly hit runner-runner to win. My experience with ACR is that hands that were weighted to win actually won the majority of the time.

Basically, depends on the site in my experience.
I had AA and 5 people called for 100 then like j 7 o canmd up and I went all in for 500 and guy cams signs 52 and runner 2 and river 2 like WTF IS THAT NEBER HEARD OF THAT IN MY LIFE lost 1400 or something he had 52 nothing I want all in with as and he called with nothing and bjt 3 2s Thayer abs!
Makes me feel like it’s rigged and there’s boys what’s the best site you recckmend for poker because bet online did the craxgesg I’ve seen .... I live in USA so cant play pokerstars :/

For what it's worth I think there is some kind of mechanism to let new players run good... Throw your tomatoes at me if you will but I've joined 4 different poker sites and every dang time I started out running godlike hitting top pairs and nut hands at high frequencies. Either poker rooms have prop players that let new players win or perhaps the RNG while random over a huge sample, clusters more wins in the first few 1000 hands. I hate to assume this and I hope somone can show me their personal example where they started on a downswing (assuming you are normally a winning player). I posted this idea earlier in here and last night joined 888 and I'm seeing the same pattern after depositing. Later after the upswing I notice I start being on the other end of the beats. It's likely random chance but I'm still curious to get a big sample of people who either has or hasn't noticed this just to make sure.

While I wouldn't say it's rigged on purpose I will say freakish things do happen. My analysis is that it's a program so nothing is completely random like live play is. Im my opinion certain hands in certain positions are designated to win. If you can pick up on the glitch you can make freakish moves in spots that look like crazy play when in fact not so much. This is different between cash and tournaments, but I've picked up on some things through play that aren't random at all across different platforms.

I have been a victim of online poker, of the platarma where it is said as a myth, the one who has the most chips always wins, it is always given by non-Latino foreigners, the system is designed to win those players who deposit to the platform. etc...

But I have been going for the positive saying that I am playing very well, but sinter the best results, knowing that this is a bad streak that this moment will have to happen and this is where the great results come from never giving up ..

For what it's worth, the first time I played BOL and ACR Cardschat freerolls, I won both. I have only won maybe another 2 or 3 in the year and a half since. And I do notice that when I start on any new site, I will run good in the beginning. I have played cash games on FT, Pokerstars, Carbon, BOL, and ACR. No exception.

I CANT TELLLLLLLL you haow mant times Ive gogone ALL in With KK or AA only to be beat by some SHMICK (bot) with 7-2 off?????????? hits a 777-22 BOAT... etc

this game is about matematics.. u have a 80% chance of wining means that u will win 80 times out of 100.. its simple.. not rigged, the % is calculated on the cards the other ppls need to get to beat u. not rigged at all.

Wow so many people have long thought out opinions about this subject.
I feel like it’s not rigged but I feel like the cards are more exciting online. But I lack the experience of much live play.
I believe a good shuffle of the cards is always gonna feel better than a random generated process like online

If it didn't feel like it was rigged sometimes, or that the Poker Gods were toying with you, then I would be suspicious. Patterns often seem to emerge from pure randomness. But consistently superior play will yield a profit over time.

It does feel like it but it is not in the best interest of the poker room. If they got caught they would lose their license.

Thanks for sharing your experience, I too made into the money for one tournament after joining a new site, won a ticket and then used that ticket to win a bigger tourney. After that my cash game luck seemed to turn sour for a pretty long run :/

Honestly poker is a rigged game by nature lol. Whether live or online and people remember the 20% that they get beat as being 100% lol [emoji14]

However there is strangeness in how many people report running godlike upon depositing on new sites. I hope there are opposite stories?

The big sites always hire external auditing services that check different processes of the betting system to make sure that the results are as fair and random as when you play in person.
Poker sites are already profitable as they receive commissions for each registration or rake on each hand, so they don't need to make their customers lose a poker hand or a tournament to make money.

This does not prevent bots from being created to help "fill" tournaments or solve the problem of lack of players in some bet limits. Anyway, if you've ever lost a poker hand that is impossible to lose, it was probably just bad luck and not a card draw manipulation.

in my opinion , online poker is not completely rigged game , in the mean that it's a hell scam . But rather it's admin controlled game in some ways and in limited times.
i can say with no doubt some times shadow hands interfere to favor some players over another .
But in an overall eye , this is so limited , for some admin controllers.
Also don't forget there are thousands of numbers that are complete recreational .
So i still play and enjoy my game.
