One of the rigged arguments out there is that new players always start on upswings. This is a graph of my first few thousand hands after joining a new site. I don't know if this is random chance but I maintained a close to 80bb winrate for over 1500 hands.
The freaky part is how linear the winrate slope is (meaning the winrate stayed stable over that sample)
I am hoping you guys who have joined new sites can post the opposite to show that players can start on losing streaks too lol.
However, for the sake of a fun theoretical discussion; one way a website can do this is by having prop players or house bots that let you off easy after you initially join. Of course house bots would be risky for the reputation of a website so that's probably unlikely, but I think prop players are entirely possible.

I had AA and 5 people called for 100 then like j 7 o canmd up and I went all in for 500 and guy cams signs 52 and runner 2 and river 2 like WTF IS THAT NEBER HEARD OF THAT IN MY LIFE lost 1400 or something he had 52 nothing I want all in with as and he called with nothing and bjt 3 2s Thayer abs!I tried BetOnline and the suckouts in that site were insane. They more than regularly hit runner-runner to win. My experience with ACR is that hands that were weighted to win actually won the majority of the time.
Basically, depends on the site in my experience.
For what it's worth I think there is some kind of mechanism to let new players run good... Throw your tomatoes at me if you will but I've joined 4 different poker sites and every dang time I started out running godlike hitting top pairs and nut hands at high frequencies. Either poker rooms have prop players that let new players win or perhaps the RNG while random over a huge sample, clusters more wins in the first few 1000 hands. I hate to assume this and I hope somone can show me their personal example where they started on a downswing (assuming you are normally a winning player). I posted this idea earlier in here and last night joined 888 and I'm seeing the same pattern after depositing. Later after the upswing I notice I start being on the other end of the beats. It's likely random chance but I'm still curious to get a big sample of people who either has or hasn't noticed this just to make sure.
I CANT TELLLLLLLL you haow mant times Ive gogone ALL in With KK or AA only to be beat by some SHMICK (bot) with 7-2 off?????????? hits a 777-22 BOAT... etc
Thanks for sharing your experience, I too made into the money for one tournament after joining a new site, won a ticket and then used that ticket to win a bigger tourney. After that my cash game luck seemed to turn sour for a pretty long run :/For what it's worth, the first time I played BOL and ACR Cardschat freerolls, I won both. I have only won maybe another 2 or 3 in the year and a half since. And I do notice that when I start on any new site, I will run good in the beginning. I have played cash games on FT, Pokerstars, Carbon, BOL, and ACR. No exception.
Honestly poker is a rigged game by nature lol. Whether live or online and people remember the 20% that they get beat as being 100% lol [emoji14]Wow so many people have long thought out opinions about this subject.
I feel like it’s not rigged but I feel like the cards are more exciting online. But I lack the experience of much live play.
I believe a good shuffle of the cards is always gonna feel better than a random generated process like online
online poker is not rigged! if u believe is rigged don´t play it is simple like that.
