If you want it as a hobby, it's worth it because it's a great way to spend your time.
If you want to make money with it, it requires a lot of learning and analysis.

Poker is faster and more aggressive these days than it used to be. The ideal way to build your skills is by playing Sit & Go tournaments on PokerStars and completing the 30-day poker course from Cardchat. You should also participate in tournaments at the Silver and Platinum levels; the gameplay there is tighter, allowing for a more relaxed and steady game.

Is it worth playing? yes it is. Can it be profitable? I you work on your game it could be.

What really makes it worth playing? For enjoyment of the game. Many people forget that is why many players took up the game.

I’ve been seeing more people talk about online poker again, but I’m curious if it’s still beginner-friendly. Some say it’s more skill-based than other casino games, while others think it can be tough because of experienced players.

For those who play, what should beginners know before trying online poker?
Every experienced pro player was once a beginner!
And eventually it’s only experience that makes them a skilled pro player!

If what you are really asking is, is this an easy way to make money? The answer is, you'll probably find even easier way if dig deep enough.

I think online poker is still worth playing for beginners, but you have to approach it with the right expectations. It's a great way to learn because you can play more hands, review your mistakes, and improve much faster than in live games.

The downside is that online players are generally tougher than they used to be, especially at higher stakes. I'd recommend starting with low stakes, focusing on learning fundamentals, and treating the first few months as practice rather than a way to make money. If you enjoy studying the game, online poker can still be a lot of fun.

No . I believe it's very hard nowadays , for beginners and only . Game is harder . Live and online . AI assistant programs and solvers make things worse . It's full of bots and pros . Difficult for a beginner to start grinding. In the past online poker rooms have so much to beginners to lure [them play , freerolls , deposit offers , other ways to keep on playing and support the poker ecosystem . Now it's very harder
