There are moments in my life that when I go so badly in real money ,,, I try and practice in fiction to look at my horrors and correct them ,,, The change from real to fictional, there is not much change in attitudes, it is played very similar to that in real money, of course there is only a change of nerves for that reason ... however playing fictional can become an excellent tool to be much more solid when you make the change and want to experience real money play ,,, that's what I It has happened and it happens to me today ,,,, advice from a friend who wants to have more luck in the long term ,,, patience and perseverance ,,, you will always win ,,,,

I pay to worm up before the events or if I want to test or pratice some new lessons. I do stupid things on play money game but only when it is small buy-in. I see more people use pley money games to test some things or have fun without pressure to win. It can disturp other players, but well... it work both way.

There have been many opinions voiced regarding play chips with many being dismissive, saying no one takes play chips seriously. That is patently nonsense as proven by Replay Poker's a million plus members.

But one change recently at PokerStars has underlined that serious players also use play chips for practice.

Everyone should have noted that now PokerStars has a small flag on the players avatar (AA or 22 for example). This designates how many real money hands they have played starting at 5,000 through to millions.

I have recently noticed such players not only showing in freerolls but yesterday, I played a play money MTT for the first time in a while and notable minority of players were shown to have played thousands of real money hands. In fact at one point a cluster of four out of nine players on one table had played between 5K and 10K plus real money hands.

This rather dispels a lot of the silly braggadocio about play chips being a waste of time as on any given day now you can see serious players practicing with play chips or showing in free rolls.

Play money games are just for beginners to familiarize themselves with the rules of the game, once you learn the basics of playing for real money it doesn't make sense to go back.

In the beginning I played countless hours play money poker.

It's just a waste of time with nothing value you can extract from. Make a small deposit in a poker room and just play the lowest stakes, is the best solution for me.

Can't play poker with play money anymore, it's a waste of time. When you play poker for play money there are no moves or discussions made with any thoughts of consequences because there is nothing on the line.
