I'm currently debating whether it's better to focus entirely on one table to maximize focus and read opponents, or to play multiple tables to increase volume and potential hourly win rate. What is your current strategy? How many tables do you usually play at once, and what are the pros and cons in your experience?

How much u handle
I generally play 2 cash or mtt ,that make me more focused,Good decision.

I am starting to realise I play the best on 2 tables at the same time instead of 3-4. Just enough engagement to keep me sharp, but not too much so that it clutters my thinking and I start to autopilot!

The only times I play 1 game at a time is the first game of the session and the last game of the session.

One game at a time is just way to slow.

That really depends on the individual; the important thing is to open enough tables to play them all well. If you can't play well and stay focused on three tables, drop down to two; if two doesn't work, play one—just keep testing it out.

Player who is still learning / wants to maximize their edge: 1–2 tables.
Winning regular looking for a balance between quality and volume: approximately 3–6 tables.
Professional grinder focused on volume: 6–12+ tables, depending heavily on skill level, format, and how automated their decision-making is.
The optimal range is often around 4–8 tables, although this varies greatly depending on the player and the stakes.

Pretty much this. Just want to add, that for more than 1-2 tables you do not want to be playing on a phone, and for more than 3-6 tables a laptop is also no longer enough. Instead you want to use a large monitor or even better two monitors, so you can still see all your tables.

Single table is a bit boring so i prefer multi

I usually play more than one table, but 4 is the maximum for me. It gives me a good balance between volume and focus.

I prefer one table in cash game and tournaments and three tables in sit n go turbo.

I prefer playing exactly 2 tables at once. For me, that is the perfect sweet spot to stay focused without getting bored...If I play only one table, it moves too slowly. But if I try to add a third or fourth table, I start getting lost and missing important action- so 2 tables keeps it manageable and helps me make better decisions...

Although Playing single table can conduce reading opponents but playing multiple table indeed best usage of time

I find 2 to 3 tables keeps me focused without getting bored. Too many makes me autopilot and lose money.

I like to play one table , but also can play max two tables . Its easier to focus on game . Good luck at the poker tables .

i can play four 9 handed cash games or MTTS when the tables are full , but only two 1 table SNGs at a time, and just one HU sng .

I prefer multi-tabling to keep things interesting, but I cap it at 4 tables to stay sharp. For finding safe offshore casinos with bigger bonuses, I recently used blightybets.com and liked the selection. It helped me switch to fewer restrictions and better rewards while keeping my focus manageable.

I play a maximum of 4 tables at a time, more than that I think it's crazy lol

my max multi table is 3 tables, i can not handle the speed and can not observe other players otherwise , i like control the table to much i think , others like control the cards i think and then they talk aboud down swing phaha funny

I always grind multi tables MTT, only exception is a special or higher stake tournament. Instead of 6 to 8 tables I go back to one main tournament and maybe 2 small screens on the side.

I prefer 8 tables and keep firing up, hoping to get one monster stack and then I let the tables out that get eliminated to hyper focus on the deep run.

Then it becomes analyzing the current table, using the bigstack to exploit and fire all weopon arsenals.

One of the advantages of online poker is precisely the ability to play at multiple tables simultaneously; however, during the final stages of tournaments—especially at the final table—it is best to play on fewer screens or focus solely on the final table.

I prefer multi-tabling because it's more profitable; focus on the one you like best and play only that one.
