The Software Conspiracy

I somehow managed to dodge two flushdraws against suckOutk1ing, and then I was moved to a different table and did not play with him again. He did not make the final table, but I did and finished in third place out of 25 players.

However the $21 hyperturbo MTT (which is not a bounty tournament) ended like this against an opponent, who certainly lived up to his user name.

I don't need to improve, I played professionally for 1 year and reached this conclusion, sites flag you when you start winning a lot and strange things happen, last week I deposited 6 dollars on Pokerstar and turned it into 30 dollars in 2 days, just playing NL 2, so I understand both Cash and Tournament, in both strange things happen, especially when you win a lot, this isn't profitable for them, even charging fees, there can't be a shark capturing all the newbies' chips, that's not good for them, so they flag you and you start losing.
Apparently PokerStars forgot to "flag" this guy, since he kept on winning over a period of 15 years and almost a million games.

No, there is no reason to be completely certain that software could never be manipulated. But there is also no reason to conclude that it is manipulated simply because certain hands seem like they were written by a screenwriter.
Players who take the issue seriously tend to rely much more on large databases + statistical analysis than on their memory of bad beats. And precisely because of this, rigged poker theories have been debated for years: individual experiences can seem extraordinarily suspicious even when they are still compatible with normal variance.

I was certain that there was conspiracy before black Monday. After that, my doubts kind of dissipated.

Ever since I put "Tilt" in my nickname, I’ve become a millionaire on GGPoker, WPT, and 888. I read that their system respects the name "Tilt" but penalizes things like "Shadow something," "Nameless," "CaioRJ" and similar names.
I'll change my nickname to Negreanu this year.

An industry insider source has told me, that their system also punish people, who play with a picture of Gus Hansen or Phil Ivey on their account, but it reward those, who put a picture of their newborn baby 🙂
I think that's very true; after all, babies are adorable.

That's what many people think when they have a losing streak. But in reality, you need to calm down and keep playing.

Funny thing is, that even when someone started a thread with a joke - in this case about the name of a player, it immediately attracts someone ready to seriously complain about "rigged poker rooms algorythms" 😉

I think that for beginners, using complex third-party software like HUDs is not necessary. GGPoker already has great built-in tools like Smart HUD and PokerCraft. They provide enough basic information to analyze your opponents and your own mistakes without overcomplicating the game.

I'm absolutely certain that Online Poker is rigged, they make bad and beginner players win constantly during the first few days, the goal is to increase their confidence, after they think they're good and deposit more money, they take it all from them, that's how casinos survive, Online Poker ended with the arrival of Artificial Intelligence, I just play for fun.

Well playing poker must be fun for you... I mean with the site letting you win constantly.

I win constantly because I've found ways to lessen the manipulation, but I keep seeing it happen repeatedly at Cash Game tables.

Algorithms and systems can potentially be manipulated, including those used in online poker. However, if you genuinely don’t trust or like the system, you have two simple options: build your own system or simply choose not to use it.

At the end of the day, players should use platforms they feel comfortable and confident with.

Are we completely certain that the online poker site hasn't programmed a specific algorithm just to give the guy named 'LuckyDuck99' a runner-runner straight every time I flop top set?😂😭
😂 It definitely feels that way sometimes, especially after a brutal bad beat. We've all had those moments where it seems like the river has a personal grudge against us. That said, I don't think poker sites are programmed to make specific players win. If they were, it would quickly destroy trust in the platform. What usually tricks us is variance—we remember the painful runner-runner beats much more clearly than the times the odds worked in our favor. My approach is to focus on whether I got my money in with the best of it. If I made the correct decision, I can live with the result, even if "LuckyDuck99" spikes the miracle card once in a while! 😄♠️
