Suspicious algorithm

Honestly, I think the bad beats are part of what makes poker so beautiful. If the better hand simply won every single time, it would probably be one of the most boring games imaginable. The uncertainty is exactly what makes poker poker.

And it’s definitely not something that only happens online. Have a look at some of the crazy hands and bad beats from live poker on YouTube — you’ll see some absolutely ridiculous situations happening at the biggest live tables, with real cards, real dealers and plenty of people watching.

Sometimes the best hand loses, sometimes the worst hand gets there, and sometimes you’re left wondering how on earth that river card could possibly have appeared. 😄 That randomness is frustrating when it happens to you, of course, but it’s also a huge part of what makes the game so entertaining.

I've been playing gg poker for about a year now. I even paid a deposit shortly after my registration, it was incredible, I was second in my first $2 tournament right away, or the jackpot came out after a couple of games on allinor fold. Cash Gamen came to the big box office. It lasted about two weeks, since then it has been a continuous failure always in any game. For example, I don't dare to go in against players with zero kilometers anymore because I know so much that the algorithm supports them. And it is also interesting that in the final stages I lose in pots without exception, no matter what.
Something similar did happen to me. One of the first tournament on gg I ended second place, then again the same occurred in a tournament in wpt global the same week when a was starting to play. Never again, only some final tables. It's definitively suspicious, but I do not want to blame my beats only on that and use it of excuse for my skills.

Now that you know what you have gotten into, you can decide to keep playing or walk away. Poker provides relaxation for me, so as long as the pros outweigh the cons, I will keep playing. Online, I do not have to hear clanging chips. Also, I gamble on the house's money, so no financial loss for me to worry about.
What do you mean "gamble on the house's money"? Are you the moderator of the poker application or something?

When I first signed up I placed 2nd in my very first tournament played... a $1 mtt called 'The Ferguson' on Fulltilt. (I won ~$100, it had ~1,000 entrants).

Since then it's been down... down... Up.. Up... down.... down.. wayyyyy down.... bit up... even.... even... down... even. DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!

Look here, today I think things are turning around for me...
this poor guy must be on his first year... he can't even win after being a 99.9% favorite on the flop. WTF? And somehow I managed to 'not lose' after I was 1,000 to 1 against winning anything in this one.

Ballsy to call on that preflop with Ladies, once king hit the table! Luck was defintly on your side! Must suck for BTN with Cowboys to not win with fullhouse.

I learned to deal with bad beats by understanding one thing:
You only lose chips to worse hands when you’ve made the right play.
And it’s going to happen often. If you play AA against 72o, the worse hand will win one out of every eight times.
That’s part of the game, and there’s no point in thinking there’s something beyond the odds causing it.

For what it's worth, those sorts of crazy runouts happen all the time, everywhere. It's like your poker God of choice saying, what odds? I don't need odds, I'm in charge here.

So, "beautiful" isn't exactly how I would describe it, but it does feel good when I'm on the winning side of the crazy outcomes. And yes, I admit - it happens a lot in my favour too.

Actually in GG poker I think it very much favors new players and also much more willing to boost your luck until a certain point. After that a flip switches and you loose with close to everything. But my problem is I get tilt too fast, so I not seems to be able to ride out the downswing.

This unfortunately happened within a tournament, usually within 20-30 hands after I rebounded. View attachment 414847

And this came after Rebay. View attachment 414848
This is just Poker. It's a game of probabilities not certainties. If you keep note of your complete history of hands you will see over a long enough period of time you will win closer to the designated % probability you had to win that hand.
Basically If you take note every time you go all in with AA pre-flop and get a call by someone with 2 under cards. It's about 87% roughly vs off-suit undercards and about 80% vs suited ones. Over a long enough period with enough of a sample size it will be close enough to those figures. If it wasn't close to the % over a long enough sample size then people would have figured out GGPoker was a scam a long time ago and no one would be playing. Some people might be more luckier or less luckier.
But that's just variance, it's why most people end up quitting who want to take it seriously. Also Poker is PvP at the end of the day, for there to be winners, there must be losers. It's impossible for everyone to be profitable. Studying more should always be a priority regardless of the stats, and if you're playing MTTs with 7,000 + players then your stats aren't enough of a sample size to determine profitability or not. Maybe you are already profitable, if you're mostly playing 7,000 + player MTTs then you need at least a 10,000 + game sample size to determine profitability.
