For small-stakes poker, I think the best time to play is usually evenings and weekends. That's when more casual and recreational players are in the games, which often means more action, looser calls, and bigger mistakes.

If you're playing online, Friday and Saturday nights can be especially good because many players are there for fun rather than grinding seriously.

That said, the absolute best time is whenever you're focused and playing your A-game. A sharp player in an average game will usually do better than a tired player in a great game. ♠️😎

Especially weekends and, as you say, especially friday and saturday night. On workday evenings games can be quite reg infested, because there are many "part time pros", who play after work. Of course the definition of "evening" will depend on, which time zone you are in, and which time zone most of the player pool is in.

On US-facing sites like ACR Poker "evening" is evening in the american time zone, which means night or early morning in Europe and daytime in Asia. On PokerStars there are kind of two "evenings", since there are a decent amount of players from Canada and South America, but also many from Europe. So in general the worst time to play on PokerStars is the asian time zone evening hours, while the rest of the day is ok.

The best time to play is when you're focused and mentally fresh. A clear mind leads to better decisions, fewer mistakes, and more patience. For me, quality of play is always more important than the time on the clock.

If you mean the best time to play poker, I’d say it depends on your goal, but in general the best time is when the games are the softest and you’re playing your best.

For online poker, a lot of players prefer evenings and weekends because there are more recreational players sitting down after work or during free time. More casual players usually mean more mistakes, wider ranges, and better opportunities for skilled players.

For live poker, Friday and Saturday nights are often considered some of the best times because more people are playing for entertainment rather than pure profit. You’ll usually see more loose calls, bigger pots, and players who are less focused on studying the game.

That said, the best time is also when you are mentally sharp. A great game at 2 AM is worthless if you’re tired, tilted, or making bad decisions. A slightly tougher game where you’re focused can be more profitable than an easy game where you’re playing poorly.

The perfect combination is: soft tables + good mindset + enough time to play your A-game. In poker, the best time to play is when your opponents are making mistakes and you’re disciplined enough to take advantage of them.

The best time is when there are plenty of recreational players, enough traffic to choose from a good selection of tables, and you’re in the right mental state to play.

I think The best time to play online poker is generally during evening hours and weekends, as this is when the highest concentration of recreational players (often called "casuals" or "fish") log on.

In my opinion, the best time to play is usually during the evenings and weekends, when online traffic tends to be higher. There are generally more tables running and a larger number of recreational players, which can create better opportunities. However, I think the most important factor is playing when you are focused, rested, and able to make good decisions. Even the best time of day won’t help if you’re not mentally prepared to play.

For me, the best time is when I can play without distractions and have enough time to stay focused. I don't think there is one perfect time for everyone. I usually prefer playing in the evening, when I can relax and concentrate on the game without rushing

I like to play my freerolls in the morning, so I have my afternoons free to do some shopping.
Then in the evening around 9pm I play one game to relax, it's' usually a play money game.

В какое время лучше всего играть и почему?
It's best to play poker late in the evening, at night, and on weekends.
At this time, more and more weak players gather at the tables, who enter the game for fun after work.

Weekends absolutely. Opponents may be drunk during weekend nights and not playing their best game.

Well, that heavily depends on your geographical location and the sites you play at.

I have noticed that there tend to be more drunk recreational players on Fri/Sat/Sun (late) evenings/early mornings in Europe - especially on unibet/bet365. In Europe those appear to be the best nights - although it is rather hard to still be awake and playing well yourself at those times if you have a job with office hours!

I like to play after work, that is, at dawn, but when I'm not working I like to play in the afternoon in case I spend a lot of time playing and not going to sleep so late, at least personally that's what it is

For cash cash games and MTT's from purely a profit standpoint/game selecting the softest games and biggest MTT prize pools......

MTT's it's weekends that's when the biggest GTD's are.

Cash it's Thursday's, Fridays and Saturday evening/nights. Thursday's are payday.....Fridays and Saturday evenings/nights brings in the rec players and drunks.

Cheers!!!
