Would you continue to play poker if you found out that 100% of online poker is fake?

No. Im not sure why anyone would continue to play. It is very certain though that the most popular poker sites are legit, since its just too hard to hide it for long period of time.

Good morning everyone, there's no way a poker game can be manipulated because it makes no sense.
online poker is audited by companies responsible for monitoring, including card randomness.
And if sites were to manipulate a game, they would manipulate casino games, since 95% of the sites' profits come from casino games, millions of dollars a day compared to a percentage from casino games.
And even casino games don't need to be manipulated, because the games are created using mathematical probability, and the casino always has an advantage, even if small, but in the long run, they guarantee profits.
Poker sites have no interest in manipulating games; it makes no sense.
You can play without worrying about manipulation.

I would probably stop playing online and focus only on live games, where I can see and trust what's happening.

If I knew for sure poker was rigged, I would not play, even with play chips. I don’t put my money on either poker or a casino either. I only play freerolls just for entertainment. It keeps my mind off things that are going on in this world and around me. Peace be with all and best wishes to everyone here on Cardschat. :) ☮️ I love Cardschat!! 💕

but I put it as an assumption
we too can dream for once
and so I'm looking for answers please!
(I don't like your comparison-a psycopatic killer)

The psychopath analogy wasn’t “unfair” at all, it was meant to show the logical absurdity of the initial thread. You more than likely probably felt embarrassed at being called out, so you shifted tone to “I just wanted fun answers, stop ruining it.”

I don't really think it's fake; if it were, there wouldn't be professional players. If you're saying that because you don't get good results, you should study a little more.

If it's fake but you can still win money, why stop? Unless it somehow diminishes your winrate such that you can do better playing live.

If someone really proves this online fraud, I definitely wouldn't play. only live.
It just is. Even if its not intended. Firstly, if its not intentionally rigged by the company on its own, then their algorithm does not work properly for sure. I'm not extending myself on why, just play the game and see for yourself. The fact is a computer program doesn't seem to be 100% able until now to generate true natural randomness.

BUT, even if they didn't rig it on their own, which they likely did, and even if their algorithm works 100% properly, which it most likely doesn't.
EVEN THEN, human beings cheat and hack everything they can get their hands at, and that truth is not different with poker. Which means that cheaters, botrings, players with live assistent, AI bots, they're all real. They exist and are out there right now playing. I know it, you know it, the poker sites know it.

We hate them, poker sites hunts them, but none of us can erradicate them. On the contrary, they're most likely multiplying.

All this doesn't mean you can not be profitable, as people already said. But poker online is cheated. Its a fact.
Maybe not all tables, but for every table you play, there's a real possibility you are being cheated, and in many of them you will be.

You might not agree with me, but to believe its 100% legit is a VERY naive attitude.

Honestly, probably not. The whole point of poker is the mix of skill, psychology, and a bit of luck. If it turned out everything was fake, the game would lose all meaning. I’d rather play with friends at a real table than waste time on something rigged.

I would still play definitely. People were cheating at poker in the 1800s and they always will it’s part of the allure for me.

At the beginning of my poker game (I still didn't have enough experience), I was also sure that I was sitting at a table not with real players but with a computer, so I often lost. Then, out of fun, after playing several tournaments, I took a lot of screenshots when I was moving over an opponent with a clearly weaker hand. And then I realized that I was much luckier than in the last hand when I was eliminated from the tournament, although I could have been eliminated much earlier. Poker is roulette, 50% of the other 50% is the ability to anticipate and calculate your chances.

There's no doubt that poker has changed. Online is declining, and ggpoker is essentially the only one still afloat. There's no doubt that the RNG is now tied to an AI, which easily adapts to your playing style. Poker will survive until new players emerge, and then it will be a constant battle of regs.

Honestly, I don't even think about it anymore. The results come naturally when you're happy with yourself. I'm more grateful for the mental milestones I've been able to achieve thanks to poker. Simply put, I only think about my own progress. I just stay on a lvl, where i feal comfortable at all different areas in life.

I agree at that point, sometimes it feels like, even if you put in alot of effort. But is also face that in my life and it helps tremendous to accept and make peace with that. I highly recommend to focus on preparation.

So you're thinking you are playing against the RNG? (I'm having difficulty understanding this part of your post)

I think it really depends on your purposes of this game. For example i play almost only freerolls with knowing that i might grow my bankroll. Now lets imagine online poker is rigged and i 95% never win anythink. This would be a main reason to stop playing online poker. Its not a competition if others have control over the result. Thats nothing what excites me in this game.
