Carbon Poker Cash Outs

Hello,

I have a small BR at Carbon Poker. Not enough to cash out and keep a decent bankroll. But, was wondering what experiences other in cardschat has had cashing out at Carbon.

Also, I have never made a deposit at at Carbon. And, was wondering same for deposits. All my BR came from freerolls and transfers made by friends.

All advise and information will be appreciated.

I personally have not cashed out on Carbon but I have online friends who say Carbon Poker is one of the better sites they use. They have never had any problems to date with the site, especially with cashing out.

You need to make sure that all of your verification credentials are correct via their upload documents link in the profile tab. It takes about 2 days for them to process this and then you are good to go. Checks have taken me about 10 to 14 days. Congrats on the BR.

I, like you have acquired my online bankrolls through grinding freerolls and on occasion a p2p. I have made multiple withdrawals from Carbon, and can tell you that you will have no problems withdrawing your funds from there. My last one (Dec. 2013) took under 3 weeks, from the time I requested it, to the time I had it delivered to my house. But you will need to verify your account, if you haven't already done so. They will need a copy of your identification and a copy of a recent bank statement or utility bill as proof of address. I'd email support and handle that prior to doing a withdrawal. IMO I'd verify your account at any and all sites you play at, that way you never have your account put on hold, for security reasons. Good luck in getting that br up to an amount you feel comfortable with after withdrawaling.

I withdrew once before and the speed was fast. Depositing was OK I just was somewhat annoyed at the paper work I had to do beforehand.

Thanks for the reply. Yep, it seems silly to wait so long and go through so much just to get the money which is yours anyway. What would happen if one was at a brick and mortar and went to cash out, and the teller said, come back in a few weeks, and maybe we will pay you.

It is not there money. It is the players money. Should be like a paypal account. Once money is won, it should go into an individual's account, and not in the reach of the poker site what so ever. They get the rakes.

Just my opinion. Maybe, someday, poker will be regulated in USA, and all players will have protection and will be guaranteed to receive the funds due them.

I would give the Forum a list of the several sites that did not pay me after Black Friday, but am sure all the members already know who they are, and what good would it do anyway.

In addition, they don't have any of my money. haha

Seven years ago, I deposited $10.00 with PS and played in the penny Limited ring table. And, have been playing every since with out making any deposits out of my personal cash. No brag just facts. lol

My one withdrawal in Dec 2013 was great. Verification took less than a day and I got my check about 2 weeks later.

I originally signed up on bovada and tried to build a bankroll through the freerolls, but didn't have much luck. thought if i tried on 2 sites i would have better luck and did. Won 2 freerolls at carbon poker. Now i originally signed with bovada because people say they have the best luck with withdrawls.

Now i have money on Carbon Poker and soon i may need a cash out. Problem is there only option is a check. Now i don't have a bank account, poor history with banks. I don't know how i would cash it. would a check cashing place do it? they told me they don't have giftcards or WU at the moment just checks. just wondering if anyone knows how i would cash that check. within 45days. thanks!

I have been locked out of Carbon since February because I live in a newly banned state(Nevada). Carbon has sent me a final check from a Canadian trust bank. I tried to cash it at Walmart but the check readers there do not recognize the mag-number strip at the bottom of the check. I then tried to deposit the check into my B of A checking account via the ATM and again the check was not recognized.
My next step is to hand carry it into the bank and hope that will work without the cashing fee being to high. If that doesn't work it's back to dealing with Carbon customer support. I'll keep you updated.. Beer30

Yes check cashing places (like Money mart do take Carbon Poker checks), usually takes them about 30-minutes to an hour to verify everything and than you should be good (Not sure about them in the states, but in Canada that's how it is)

Well first and foremost (Congrats, on building your roll from free rolls).

Now as to weather you can actually take the money out or not (that's your question correct), and you'd like to know if they have any stipulations in regards to this or not?

Well like you, I've made my B.R from CC free-rolls and just kept working it up.

For me I made sure to ask Carbon Poker if I could be eligible to cash-out or must I meet a certain "Criteria's", and for me, I was told there was no such things (but you should always make sure to just ask, so you're on the safe side).

Now to answer your second question, how long does the Carbon Checks take to come to you, well again for me it takes about a week (other's have received it in 10 days and some as long as 2 weeks), so between 5 days- 2 weeks is the average.


In the snip below is all from CC free-rolls, built up btw🙂 , If you look at the one that states sent, It was sent out on the 19th and I got it by 24th of February

I cashed out in the fall when I played on there. Took about 3 weeks and cleared after I deposited it via teller. Cashout times vary (some people have had to wait more than 1 month lately), but everyone gets their money from Carbon.

Ive had a nice week on the cash games(which I don't play too much of online) and after taking down a 3k guaranteed ($33 buy in) 6-max on Carbon for $980 im ready to make a small withdraw from the site. my first withdraw from this site. I don't like carbon, but I have heard on average it has been 2-3 weeks for cashouts.

Actually, people are receiving withdrawals now in 2 weeks or less. I believe Merge switched up the supply chain a bit (as my Carbon checks now look identical to my Bovada checks 🙂 ) Perhaps they use the same processor now?

And to answer OP, you don't need a card on file in order to get a check withdrawal...Just send them a utility bill w/ your name on it.

I am glad to see all these good comments on withdrawals because I will bee soon doing a withdrawal. But I can tell you from my experience it took me 3 days to deposit, finally had to do it with WU because they keep declining my visa. And the WU took like 6 chats with live chat and almost 9 hours to post.

Carbon Poker Withdrawal Problems

ANyone else have problems with Carbon Poker? I requested a check withdrawal for $2500 from carbon poker took 4 weeks then cashed the check into my bank. two days later i get an email from Carbon Poker that they "put a stop on the check"...next day i look at my bank account and sure enough not only did my bank reverse the deposit..i was charged $30 for returned check fee. This was 10 days ago..i check in with carbon every other day..this is what they say.. they wont credit me the $30 or let me know when i should expect my money 🙁 Can anyone help?

Carbon really doesn't seem to care..i feel like they are blowing me off

i think the besr way to resolve is calling then and see what happen and i know that you can feel like thayt about the 30 bucks i hope you feel better ones you check arrive to you. i starting to play over there on carbon i gonna see how i do thanks for share this

I do have a problem with Carbon. 6-7 years ago I deposited $800 with Players Only. Wagering / Playing Poker was denied as I was living in a country not supported. I had not used a single cent but Players refused to send me my funds back. In the end I had to ask my CC Bank to do a chargeback. I did get my $800. Today I was blocked from Carbon who cited the chargeback with Players Only (apparently same co). Carbon offered to refund my initial deposit with them. I had good winnings when playing at Carbon. Money won from other players. Carbon refused to pay these out. I told them it is not their money - to no avail. This in my opinion is theft. Even if they do block me from playing, my winnings never came from them but from other players. Thoughts?

Try and stay positive through this process. I know it is difficult sometimes playing email tag with them and your bank and what not but keeping a good relationship with them will only help you with this payout and in the future. As far as the $30 from the rejected check, I would suggest speaking with their manager in support/cashier and see what they can do sense the check that they provided was not redeemable.

I've seen a couple of stories about this from Carbon in the last few months. I am starting to fear they are in the early stages of the Lock Poker fiasco. I hope not, but I would certainly stay on them.
