888poker is not working properly

Hi, I had connection problem on 888 on Monday but after minutes this problem was solved.

I believe it was a problem connecting to the server. Today it works fine.

If you can't download, try downloading on another pc, or restart your system and router.

in the last weeks 888poker is presenting connection problems, I hope they are fixing it because it is annoying that it is stopping in the middle of a tournament.

It has a couple of days like this, in the middle of tournaments it freezes and I get a message to wait and approximately 5-10 minutes later it reacts but it affects me in the tournament because the limits of the BBs advance and that affects the end but hey there is no refund hahaha

Hi all.
Today, when the poker room 888 was launched, it asked me to update.
I pressed refresh.
And everything!!!
Pokerroom 888 is not responding!!!
Who faced this today, please answer what to do?
I'm in confusion.

Today the lobby has been updated to the latest version, I don't see any problems with 888 yet.

I did the upgrade and now when I try to start 888 it says program not found. LOL moving on to other site.

Its been a bit buggy since the last couple updates, but no problems downloading updates here in Canada, on both laptop and phone..

I have 2 suggestions on that:

1. Did you try to use VPN to download it? You can try free vpn-addons in your browser to try it
2. Maybe 888 team found issues in their current version of the software, so they temporarily closed (or made not available) the downloading of their .install file 🤷‍♂️

I had the same problems recent days with connection error etc, but every time after a while I logged in back and played, so didn't manage to re-install the programm.

Hello.
Recently, this site has been experiencing technical problems. Especially in the evenings and precisely during our daily freerolls. It is very sad. I hope they can fix this problem soon.

It's not just you.

I had to do the update and 888 launched normally, but if I close 888 I get an error message and it refuses to launch again.
To get back in I have to delete 888 and reinstall but it only works with the reinstall, if I close it the same thing happens again. So far I've deleted and reinstalled 3 times and it is getting old fast.
I suppose I could just stay logged in, but lately 888 has been having connection issues so I can see this being a pain in the butt if I get disconnected and have to uninstall/reinstall every time it happens.

Somehow this morning it's worse. Even when I uninstall then reinstall 888 won't launch at all, I just get an error message.
You would think they would do a bit more testing before rolling out an update.

It appears the new "lethal" update is still being rolled out, my brother just got it and is having the same problem with it, not being able to launch 888 after closing it after the update.

I finally got in again after uninstalling/reinstalling 4 times this morning. The first 3 times it didn't automatically launch after the install, but the 4th try it did and now I don't dare close it even the the next game I plan to play is 3 hours away.

I guess it's things like this and the ensuing complaints that scared off the 888 rep from CC.

I had the same problem that you described after the update, I consulted my nephew who works with informatics and he told me to install a specific file from Microsoft, I did what he told me and the 888 started working again.
I just didn't put the file name here in the topic because I don't know if it's allowed by Cardschat.
