Just yesterday I was having the same problem, but when I last downloaded it, I changed the download folder and then it worked fine for me.

when i agree to new 888poker update get message on App saying vc runtime140 not found have tried several times same result when i reinstall app and say no to update it works fine

i am having problems with new 888poker update when i accept it comes up vcruntime140 not found when i reinstall app and refuse update it works ok

Problems with the 888poker platform have been occurring my and subsequently, I advise you to remove all search history and delete everything from the hard drive with references to poker. And try to see, if not you will have to format the PC. and you will see how it is installed. It's annoying, I've had the same problem. With the platform for phone and tablet, I already have the solution, but for the PC it is difficult to solve that problem

I have some issue with 888 and my antivirus.

It frequently detects it as a virus and doesn't let me start it. So I have to add it as an exception and then it works again for some time.

But at least I do not have to reinstall anything.

I removed the whole story, cleaned it everywhere, it does not help.
On the weekend I'll try to reinstall Windows.

I had the same problem that you described after the update, I consulted my nephew who works with informatics and he told me to install a specific file from Microsoft, I did what he told me and the 888 worked again.
I just didn't put the file name here in the topic because I don't know if it's allowed by Cardschat.

I got this error after the update.

So I corrected it as my nephew instructed me, and it started working again.
I just don't know if I'm allowed to put the name of the file, I would have to know from someone from the administration, I don't want to violate any regulations.

I imagine it's something related to the update really...
In the last few days, finally 888 chat was enabled for me after update. However, there is instability, and when I open the 888 it shows the 'old' form with no chat option enabled.

I think it's their problem in particular.
Back and forth...

I've seen some successful cases reinstalling like others... however I still think it has something to do with them.

What fixed the problem for me was installing C++ 2015 2022.
Here is the link to the 64Bits version:

Any doubts you can search for C++ 2015 2022 on google for your windows version (if it is 32Bits).
The program is original Microsoft and is free.

it didn't work on my PC either, but I played in the mobile app, clear all cookies and history, delete and reinstall the game, log in again, enter your username and password again
